West Coast Deck is who you should hire. They installed a TimberTech AZEK composite deck that turned out better than I could’ve dreamed. Look at this bad boy. Would definitely recommend them. They did great work at my Encinitas house.
I called Jameson to do a consultation and a proposal on an extremely complex poolside deck job in the Hollywood Hills.
We’re doing a full remodel of the existing pool, deck, outdoor kitchen, and outdoor living area. Needs to be fully replaced due to code issues, wood deterioration, and insect damage.
I asked for a few recommendations and talked to some industry contacts and asked them for the recommendations for the group in Southern California that has the experience and capabilities to execute very complex projects. Several people told us to call West Coast Deck.
This project involves complex engineering, hillside caisson work, fire considerations, and a bunch of really complicated things that most builders aren’t able to bite off and don’t have past experience with. That led us to Jameson and his team. We need to do steel framing, AZEK PVC decking, a glass railing, integrated patio cover, in addition to a bunch of really complicated structural concrete work.
They came out, were able to pretty quickly help us understand the key drivers on this project and what we would need to do, and helped us come up with a number of solutions and a work plan for the site.
If you’re looking at similarly complex projects, I would feel very comfortable recommending these guys
