Michael, his project management and construction teams did a great job on my fish pond decking with redwood railings and patio enclosure structures. I’m a retired architect, they were able to follow my design details and provide construction solutions to the railings, operable deck doors for the pond filters, equipment shed and trellis over the entrance doors. I chose MG over other contractors was because Michael’s proposal has reasonable payment schedule and detail scope of works and descriptions. The project was completed on time without single change order.
I worked with MG Construction on the construction of my deck and I can truthfully say they are a professional and well run organization. It’s extremely difficult finding good contractors and MG met my expectations. Jeff, my project manager was great, being extremely communicative, present, and reliable.
Don’t be afraid to pay for quality. I recommend MG.
This review is for Michael Gabso and his team. I haven’t encountered a more professional team throughout this whole process of renovating my front porch. With a lot of contractors, there would be a light of hands on management in the day to day but with MG Contruction, they ran the whole operations seaminglessly while keeping me up to date on the progress.
Having been busy at work, they save me a lot of my time and hassle from having to spend too much time reviewing this project. They are well organized and Michael definitely has been doing this for a long time. The pricing for his company is more than fair for the high quality of work. Both James and Max were great when I reached out with questions, they were very responsive.
One of the reason why I went with MG Construction was because Michael’s eagle eye was able to notice certain detail of the job that that the other contractors who provided bids overlooked. I rarely provide reviews for company but MG Construction certainly deserves this one. I will definitely use this company for my future landscape projects.
MG did a terrific job in our backyard! We needed steps, railings, retaining walls, a small deck, and more, with difficult (steep and uneven) terrain. From the start, Michael and his team were great. Jeff, the construction manager, was always helpful and available. He never ignored a text and was easy to reach by phone. Knowledgeable, too. And the team working under Jeff was just as good. The crew was uniformly conscientious – they really cared about the quality of their work, and it shows. The job itself is very solid. The price was fair under the circumstances. It was a big, messy job on rough land and I had quotes for more money for less work, from other contractors, before I engaged MG. Five stars!
MG construction is a great company to work with. The owners are lovely and they were very communicative. Our project manager, James, was on site daily and he was always reachable by text when we had any questions. Although they were not our cheapest bid, we ended up going with them because of their professionalism. Our deck is beautiful.
