   I have a pool/spa that was overdue for replastering. I requested quotes from several companies and ultimately chose Dane, and I couldn’t be happier with that decision.

   From our first meeting, Dane made a great impression. He arrived right on time in a clean, well-maintained truck and carried himself professionally. Beyond just replastering, I was considering a few fixes and modifications, so I shared my initial thoughts with him. He listened carefully and offered thoughtful suggestions based on his decades of hands-on experience. His advice felt honest and well-reasoned, not sales-driven. Together, we agreed on what truly needed to be addressed and what wasn’t necessary or worth the cost. The entire conversation was smooth and pleasant, no probing, no sales pitch, no pressure, just a straightforward exchange of information with some friendly conversation mixed in. Later that same day, Dane followed up with a clear checklist breaking down each item and its price, which gave us a solid place to start.

   The project began in less than a week. The crew consisted of one foreman and three to four workers, working consistently from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays, with a short lunch break around 11. Dane was responsive and responsible throughout the process, keeping me informed about all important updates so we were always on the same page. I never ran into any unpleasant surprises. He also took safety seriously, making sure the team cleaned up daily and reinstalled the pool fencing after work, details that are tedious but often overlooked.

   The quality of work was top-notch. Dane regularly invited me to check on the progress. Although I happened to be very busy during that time and was comfortable leaving everything in his hands, it was clear how much pride Dane and his crew took in their work. On the occasions when I did stop by, I was never disappointed, not even once. Dane is meticulous and pays close attention to detail. For example, he even chose skimmer covers that matched the surrounding pavers, how great is that? Beyond remodeling the pool, Dane and his team also helped fix other issues along the way, including a circuit breaker that had been tripping for a long time. Dane is exactly the kind of project manager you can trust to handle everything from start to finish.

   The project was completed on schedule, and the pool now looks literally brand new. My family and I couldn’t be happier with the result, and we couldn’t wait to jump in and enjoy it.

   Dane did a great job of helping us from start to finish with the refurbishment of a 26-year-old pool and attached hot tub. Our plaster was failing and a leak developed which was causing us to lose 1-2 inches of water per day. Dan helps us identify the problem and he recommended a fix. He helped us choose new coping and plaster to update the look of the pool The workmanship is outstanding. His crew was very friendly and professional, and they kept a very clean work site. They the job finished on schedule and within budget! Dane’s communication was excellent throughout the project. We highly recommend Dane’s Swimming Pool for all your pool refurbishment needs.

   I’ve added a picture of our before and after. Our entire pool had cracks, black mold, and the paster was falling off. In a few weeks Dane had dramatically transformed our pool at a price that was reasonable. He adding coping, redid the mastic and fixed a lot of our aggregate patio while he was at it. He was always responsive to questions, very transparent in pricing, respectful of privacy and easy to talk to.

   Good communication, hard working crew and beautiful results.
   Why not work with a seasoned knowledgeable contractor/owner rather than a middleman company rep?
   Once the work started my pool was job #1 for Dane and his crew.

   Dane completed a full remodeling of our pool. The pool sits on a hillside and was leaking with numerous cracks around the deck. It has a beach entry and a spa. We did a complete remodel: new coping, new plaster, new drains, return lines were all replaced and moved on the other side of the pool, new pump motors. Deck’s stones had to be repaired in multiple places and match the existing deck. Dane and his crew did a fantastic job. We were looking for top quality and that is what was delivered. I specially appreciated the remarkable attention to details, the guidance in the selection of materials, the careful planning of each step in the construction. His crew’ s craftsmanship is excellent. This is a crew that is used to work together. The attention to detail extends to the construction process: the site was always very well organized and cleaned every day. There was no interruption in the work. Existing landscape suffered no damage. When the pool was completed Dane made sure every detail had been done to our satisfaction.
   Dane is friendly, professional and very responsive. He is a pleasure to work with and the new pool is truly fantastic.
