I hired CPM a little over three years ago to tend to my pool and landscaping. I must say that over this time, I have been quite happy with their reliability and performance. However, it was until talking with friends about their experiences with other contractors that I realized just how lucky we are to have found CPM. They always show up when they agreed, and the few times they did not, they took extreme accountability by calling me before our scheduled appointment and apologized for inconveniencing us. When I told this to my friends, they could not believe it…so they hired CPM as well, and found out that CPM is the most reliable contractor in El Paso!

Remember, you get what you pay for! And with CPM, you are getting EXCELLENCE!

Remember, if you want it done right the first time, call Dominic and Melissa today!

I would recommend Custom Pro Maintenance to any pool owner in El Paso. My pool is large and not easy to keep in good condition. Custom Pro Maintenance does a very good job and if you want your pool serviced correctly, give them a call.

After having several disappointing lawn maintenance companies, Custom Pro Maintenance was recommended to me by a friend. I have had Melissa and Dominic now take care of my yard for several years and couldn’t be more pleased. I can highly recommend Custom Pro Maintenance.

I originally hired this company to clean my pool on a weekly basis and handle my landscaping on a bi-weekly basis.

On the landscaping side, I believe they quoted my $40 per hour (or per 30mins, cant remember), front yard only. While I thought it was a bit pricey, and expected each maintenance session of my front yard to run at least $80, I agreed. However, they never started. Why? I dont know. But, after a month of waiting for them to start the landscape maintenance, I gave up and hired someone else. My new landscaper maintains both front and back yard, charges per job and not per hour, and overall, allows me to keep ALL my landscaping looking good for LESS than the price I was quoted by this company for my front yard only.

On the pool side, they quoted me $45 per cleaning, which was about 10 to 15 dollars above others quotes i received. But, I was guaranteed that my pool would look spotless at all times, and I thought it would be beneficial to have one company handling BOTH pool and landscape. So, I agreed to that price as well, and kept them on even after they never started the landscape maintenance (and defeating the point of why I hired them in the first place). At first, they did a great job with the pool. They were prompt and communicative, sending me a text after they finished each pool cleaning. Then, approximately a month ago, it changed. I would come home from work after they “cleaned” the pool to find it dirty and without any chlorine tablets. After about two weeks of this, I watched the footage from my backyard cameras to figure out what was going on. Indeed, they were no longer hand vacuuming my pool floor (just throwing in one of those auto-vacuums for 30 mins) and no chlorine tablets were being added to the pool (just a little bag of pool shock, which based on experience, was for a pool about half my size). I STILL didn’t say anything, as I figured they might have been short-staffed and/or having a hard time with supplies. Then, I received a call from the owner, Dominic, stating that I now needed some expensive repairs to my pool equipment. There were apparently cracks in my filter and multi-port valve, which were causing a lot of water leakage and filtration issues. Dominic claimed this was why my pool floor never looked clean anymore. I knew at the time, based on watching footage, that this was AT LEAST partly not true, and the problem was also due to them not hand vacuuming anymore. Further, upon visual inspection, there was no leaking water anywhere around my pump or filter. So, I decided to get a second opinion. While I was in the process of getting a second opinion, I then noticed that my pool looked like it wasn’t being cleaned at all. The floor was filthy, there was no chlorine tablets anywhere, and I was having to empty my own filter baskets. So again, I watched the footage from my backyard cameras. Indeed, they did not come to clean the pool. I then texted Dominic that I no longer needed their services due to the issues stated above. I was met with a rude response that they had “already decided to cancel [my] service” beforehand, hence their no-show for cleaning appointments. When they decided to “cancel my service” is unknown, and it definitely didn’t stop them from automatically charging my credit card on a weekly basis for services not rendered.

All in all, if you want to be over-quoted, over-charged, and receive subpar service, use this company.

Otherwise, there are much more affordable and honest vendors you can use, which I have quickly found out over time.

Beware of this business taking you to the cleaners. I asked them for a proposal to refinish my swimming pool and he came back with a proposal for over $1,000 just to paint the deck. I found someone else to do it for $318. I asked him for a filter service which was supposed to be $85 and after they took my filter screeens to wash them at a carwash, they brought one back torn and billed me $318. Right before I was to have a backyard party, they came by to clean my pool but I noticed the pool wasn’t crystal clear. After calling in FM Pools, they showed me the water test and my pool was almost chemical free but they were charging me for pool cleaning with chemicals.

After I called and politely cancelled my service, Dominic called me back and was very rude and actually tried to make me look like the bad guy. I wouldn’t recommend this company if they were the only ones left on the planet.
