10/10 Customer Service & Experience! In a world where genuine customer service is hard to come by, Butcher’s Swimming Pool Supply & Service truly stands out. My $2,000 Polaris pool cleaner started showing an error code, so I first contacted the store I originally bought it from (a well-known chain that starts with “Les”—where, ironically, you get less service). They told me they couldn’t even look at the cleaner for 2–3 weeks. I tried another location of the same chain and got a runaround about a missing manager and a backlog of broken units. They then passed me off to yet another location. Frustrated, I decided to give Butcher’s a shot. To my surprise, they inspected and repaired my cleaner within a week. Even better, 90% of the cost was covered by warranty—and I didn’t have to lift a finger. They submitted the claim on my behalf. Shoutout to Malcolm for his clear communication and timeliness. It’s refreshing to experience real customer care again. My cleaner is running perfectly now—it’s practically brand new with all the replaced parts. If you’re tired of getting the corporate runaround, skip the big chains and head straight to Butcher’s.
Butcher’s Pools found the leak the other companies couldn’t and got my fountain running again. Smart and cleaver people at Butcher’s Pools. And the price is very reasonable.
Your driver almost hit the side of my car! He is very reckless and has anger problems! Road rage is not a good impression when your car is full of your company logo!
Butcher sold a poor motor and charged for installed by their technician. It’s leaking at the gaskets after they installed. They made very hard time to come back for their work guaranteed. And they never attemp to responding for the issue regarding their contract work responsive. I went back to store, the lady front desk was very friendly but she did not know anything beside just sale their products. When you buy their products or use their services they are very friendly and schedule ontime . But when it comes to issue due to their responsibility they change 100% degree to not responding.
I was in the process of purchasing a new house and had the pool professionally inspected. The inspector noted issues, for which I got quotes to repair from a 3rd party company. The home seller also got a quote from Butcher’s, which stated that they would repair everything that needed to be repaired, but that a few items from the inspection were in fact not broken and needed no repair. Butcher’s won the bid for the work because they were obviously cheaper than the other company since they claimed less work needed to be done.
After moving in, I noticed that two items that Butcher’s claimed didn’t need to be fixed (despite the professional inspector noting that they did) not working, or working intermittently. I reached out to Butcher’s and was told that since they were unable to replicate the issues in their inspection that they did not see a reason to fix the issues. This is despite the fact that both I and the professional paid inspector noted the problems. Butcher’s refused to remedy their oversights and stated that they would only come out if I paid them to fix things that they initially claimed didn’t need to be fixed.
Moral of the story: Butcher’s will low bid your projects so they look better than other companies, but will only do 70% of the work that needs to be done. Expect to pay for that extra 30% out of pocket. Very dishonest way of doing business.
