   We thought Pool Design meant “pick a shape.” S&P turned it into a tiny class on how water and people move. They mocked up bench heights with milk crates (genius), taped the deck outline so we could “walk” the furniture layout, and showed two coping options in real sun so we weren’t choosing from a phone screen. We were leaning toward a dark interior until they measured our tree shade and politely steered us lighter to avoid chilly water in spring. The 3D plan matched the finished pool right down to grout joints aligning with skimmer mouths. That level of intention made the build calm and the results feel inevitable. Just the best pool designer in Los Angeles!

   We reside in Los Angeles and chose S&P for Pool Construction after a friend’s referral. The crew showed up early, laughed a lot (nice vibe), and still worked like clockwork. Steel and bonding passed in one visit, and the equipment pad is so tidy our electrician complimented it. App control is simple enough that my dad figured it out without asking for help.

   S&P’s pool design consults were the best money we spent—circulation that shepherds leaves where they belong, lighting that flatters faces (no raccoon eyes), and coping that doesn’t scorch bare feet. HOA nitpicked a color; S&P handled the revision and sent us a quick mockup. Permits? Approved on the first pass (rare in Glendale). We felt prepared when shovels finally hit dirt.
