   If you have a deck or wood building project that you need done, the best thing you could do is hire Ron Porter to take care of the project! He is genuinely the best. From the beginning, he stood out against any other competitors for multiple reasons. When he came out to measure and give a quote, he patiently listened and asked great questions and helped us figure out what we actually wanted to do with our backyard space. He had a vision for what it could look like when we were unsure of what to do. He designed a deck that was specifically informed by the layout of our house and backyard. Every suggestion he made was the right one. The level of care he demonstrated at every step along the way impressed us. He measured and leveled carefully at each part of the building process. He was transparent with his pricing and communicated well throughout the project. This project turned out even better than we could have imagined because of the great pride Ron takes in his work and creative process. He is trustworthy, honest, and has great energy, and you can feel all of that when you are around him.

   Ron re decked our deck. He completed the job quickly with no mess and did it to plan and within budget. It looks great and he was great to deal with. Highly recomemd Ron and his team.

   We could not be happier with the excellent, professional work done by Ron Porter and his team. From the start Ron worked with us to design our dream deck and pergola and made changes to accommodate our needs as the work was being done. He and his team were always on time and communicated very well all through the project. The finished product is even better than we initially imagined and we are thrilled with our deck.    I was unable to use Ron for the project after discussing my options but am compelled to provide him a review. There is something to be said about a guy willing to drive a long distance just to shake a potential customer’s hand and get eyes on the working area. To top it off he gave a clean, honest consultation of how to take care of my yard project even though it meant he wouldn’t get my business. Off his pictures his work is surely as good as his integrity.

   Ron and his team were awesome! They installed a beautiful deck in 3 days. Ron always brought the enthusiasm and even added an extra bench to the deck free of charge when he thought it would improve the quality. Ron is your guy if you are looking to install a deck in the Jacksonville area.
