After paying an arm and a leg for custom butcher block countertops, I decided to invest some time in making them myself.
Not only is it the best selection of raw hardwood in the Reno, Sparks area, but they have a great selection of the additional materials you’ll need for woodworking for remarkably lower prices than the Home Depot (I noticed when I went to my local Home Depot to pick up a couple things to finish the product).
Staff was friendly and helped me prepare for what I was getting into. With an investment in time, I ended up saving $1700 over what I was quoted.
Wow, how refreshing to shop at Mastercraft Hardwood Lumber. Beyond their stellar selection of hardwoods, burls, lathe blanks, moulding, sheet goods, tools and sharpening service- the employees are great/fantastic! Helpful, patient, attentive and intelligent.
Merchants should take a field trip to MHL to learn how business should be done. MHL – OLD SCHOOL all the way.
Master Craft Hardwoods and Lumber, is a very important store for our city. I love this place, they have a great selection of hard to get woods, baseboards, glues, blades, hardware and it goes on and on. Let me also add plenty of room to get your order loaded with no stress or drama. If you have not been to this store before stop in sometime to get an idea how they can help you and see for yourself the great selection.
We’ve been buying from Mastercraft for years and since day one they have been great! Their inventory is massive and if they don’t have what you need they will locate it, or even have it milled from a local woodworker and brought it in asap. That’s service you will not get from most large or small companies. Richard Stanley is our go to guy, but no matter who you deal with at Mastercraft, they will be knowledgeable and courteous.
