Had a pool leak and the job entailed cutting into the concrete and replacing with new skimmer then patching up the concrete. The job started Thursday and finished by Tuesday.
Carlos took the time & effort to clean the pool of debris which was very nice but the concrete job was very sloppy. I understand it’s very hard to match the concrete which is it’s fine. The issue was that skimmer and concrete was placed lopsided and not smooth/even. It’s even hard for me to close the lid of the skimmer which is irritating. I did not have this issue before. Even my pool maintenance guy said it was a bad job.
When I confronted Carlos was very abrasive & blocked my number. Had to call him on a different phone number and he said he’ll come back and look at it but never did. Im supposed to have 5 years warranty; he is very unprofessional.
I paid $1623.75 to fix the pool leak which is fixed but the concrete job was very sloppy & an eyesore which I have to look at every day now. Pictures speaks for itself.
First thing that struck me about Carlos was his overall knowledge. He was knowledgable and had an opinion on everything from the water, pool environment to the equipment. It was his consultation that I appreciated and leveraged most. I’ve had several pool companies servicing my pool over the years, Carlos was the first to correctly diagnose that I had the wrong type of filter for my yard. I would recommend Carlos’ services for anyone looking for pool expertise.
We purchased a beautiful home with a pool in Seguin. The previous owners were unable to maintain the pool so there was algae growing and the filter system wasn’t working properly. Mr. Gonzalez came and cleaned the pool and worked on the whole system until the pool sparkled! He responded immediately to my urgent call for help. I had called several pool service places but he was the ONLY one who reached out to me right away. We don’t even mind paying the extra fuel surcharge for him to come to Seguin because HE TAKES CARE OF BUSINESS! We highly recommend CG Pools for all your pool needs! Thanks Mr. G!!!! My name is Mike I’ve been a customer of C&G pool service for several years and I’ve always had great service. Last week my pool pump didn’t come on I called and and C&G came over diagnosed the problem and the repair was made at very reasonable price . I highly recommend them cause I am a very satisfied customer that has always received great service any time I’ve called their prices are very affordable.
No professionalism at all. Left me waiting the whole week without ever showing up, and every time I texted him to see if he was going to show up he kept saying he was but never did.
