   The servicemen arrived on time .. They immediately found the problem with my grill.. It was an easy fix and they had the parts in their truck. They also wiped down and cleaned the grill for me.. Very helpful and professional.

   From beginning planning to the end of installation and final inspection The Outdoor Kitchen Place kept us well informed. We had a budget and they were able to meet it. I cannot praise them enough for the services. The front office constantly kept us informed as to when and what was going to be done. We were given a time of completion and they met that date easily. The job was not complete until Anthony came and did a final quality inspection. We are extremely happy with the materials and workmanship.

   Since moving to SWFL three years ago, we have encountered some businesses with great customer service (and more than a few with not-so-great customer service). But none of them have shown us better customer service than the Outdoor Kitchen Place, based in downtown Bonita.

   Our project got off to a rocky start because a company that supplies their granite was having temporary staffing problems. The communication among us, that company and the Outdoor Kitchen Place was awful. In short, we made three different hourlong roundtrips to choose our granite. Each time we chose a slab we would later be told it was the wrong size or unavailable.

   So finally — extremely unwisely on our part — we chose a piece based on photographs. We know better, but we were worn down and we had other problems to contend with, so we took a leap of faith that the photos accurately represented the colors.
   When the granite was installed (we weren’t home), it looked horrible. The blues and grays in the photos were actually light green and didn’t go with anything on our lanai. We expressed our extreme disappointment to the Outdoor Kitchen folks, but we couldn’t blame them because we had signed off on it.

   Company honcho Anthony took a look, agreed that the colors just didn’t work and offered to replace the granite — for FREE — because “our main concern is having satisfied customers.” He simply ate the considerable labor and materials costs to yank out their brand new installation and redo everything. It now looks fabulous.

   Talk about going above and beyond!

   I left below initial review when project was completed (scroll down) as we were very happy working with the Outdoor Kitchen Place and they asked for a review. Now that we have a problem there is no response. Granite was only 6 months old when we discovered issue. No way to do business. Very disappointing.

   We had outdoor kitchen and bar completed in March and left in early May as we are snowbirds. We returned in October and after using the grill a minimum number of times noticed when grill was on there was a crack in granite behind it which expanded with heat and constricted when grill cooled. After further inspection we noticed crack started on side of slab and runs approximately 30 inches across back of grill. Pictures are included.
   We reached out to Anthony and team in early December and his Forman and someone from UMI Stone in Naples came to look at crack. Foreman said the only time he has ever seen anything like this was when someone left grill on for days on highest heat. Granite representation would not take ownership of problem.
   Our contract was with Anthony and we asked him to call us numerous times, to date we have not heard from either Anthony or UMI.
   Anthony has walked away from the problem and refuses to contact us.

   I just wanted to share how happy we were with the process and results of redoing our outside kitchen with the “Outdoor Kitchen Place”. Everyone was fantastic to work with. The follow up, communication and workmanship was excellent.
