   Welp my first experience was not the best. I had to load 4 yards of rock but my trailer was only big enough for 2 yards so had to make 2 trips. They got the first trip and load correct but when I got to my house and started to dump I noticed they didn’t load me with the correct rock. When I brought this up I half jokingly said “ do I get to charge for my time and gas to fix this “ the response was “I wish”.
   I wasn’t necessarily looking for anything but just the acknowledgment that it was wrong and something from a customer service perspective . I didn’t get anything. So I said I’ll just leave a review and share my experience, which is what I am doing. I’m not sure if I will use again, nor if this is a big deal or not just sharing.

   Do not buy rock from this place.The worst owner and workers. Not only do they sell me two different colored rocks.They insulted my intelligence and told me I bought it from a different company. Didn’t do anything to try to make it right?So I had to eat seven hundred dollars and still have to buy new rock for my client. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

   I’ve ordered from Pete’s twice now and they were friendly and professional from reception to delivery. My sister has also used them several times and I highly recommend their service.

   I bought stuff for my garden from here. There was rocks and sticks and mulch and who knows what else in the product. I paid a good amount of money and had it delivered. They also lied to us and said they bought this product from another place. I went to this place and compared what they sold me versus the product from where they said they purchased the product and the one the sold me was not at all what was at the place the lied about buying it from. The place they lied about had great quality and clean product. There’s was no mulch, rocks, sticks, etc at all. I’ll be buying my product from the better company. Oh and they had WAY better pricing!

   We ordered 5 boulders weighing about 85 pounds each and set up a delivery time for Tuesday Sept. 26 between 9am and 1pm. At 12:50 I called because no one had shown up or contacted us. I was told they were swamped and short-handed. I was told we would receive our stones between 3pm and 5pm. At 4:50 a pickup truck arrived. There was one person only. When we placed the order with Sandra she said they would need two people to set the boulders and it would cost $95. The person was using his own pickup truck. I asked where the 2nd person was because we paid for two people. He said he didn’t know anything about that. The boulders were for the curb area and he ended up only having to carry them about ten feet from the truck. We were charged $45 for delivery, $15 fuel surcharge, and $95 for TWO people to set the boulders. Total $155. I called the next day and spoke with the manager Mike. I asked him to refund us $47.50 because only one person handled the setup of the boulders. He said it was the standard fee no matter how many people were used to set the boulders. He was not willing to compensate us for anything! We waited ALL DAY! WE CALLED them as no one called us to tell us there was a staff problem and a delay in delivery time. We paid for two people delivering and setting the boulders and only got one person. Thankfully he only had to carry the boulders a few feet from the pickup and just move the truck forward for each boulder. I have purchased from Pete’s at least two other times and I was very happy with everything. We are hard working and caring people. We tipped the person that helped us picking out the 5 boulders. We definitely were not treated professionally on the delivery day and especially when I spoke with Mike. We did not get quality service for what we were charged for!
