   Avoid this company like the plague! I ordered samples from many companies and settled on Smart Turf’s Play Zone Plus. The most important and deciding factor for most people is how it looks. We laid the turf and were very happy so a few months later we decided to expand the covered area. We bought more and had it installed. When we got home and saw the turf, it was a different color! I called and asked if they gave us the right product. They said they did and that it was just a different batch, and that in each batch, the dye is different. So now there is black thatch. We would never have chosen this product, because we hate the way it looks! It looks especially bad next to a different color turf. So if you ever need to replace any section of your turf or want to lay more turf, you are screwed! They change the colors so you can never match the existing turf. My yard obviously looks terrible because it’s two different colors. I want to fix it, but I would have to rip up the whole yard (thousands and thousands of dollars) to have the yard be the same color because they can’t match any of the existing turf they sell. Why would you change the color every batch? If they don’t do this, then they lied to me about the turf they gave us (and lied on the receipt); either way, I have never been angrier about a purchase. I spent thousands and hate it, and I have to look at it every day. NEVER use this company, I curse them every time I look out the window.
