   We have been working with Dewey and his team to work towards our dream garden in Jax Beach. They gladly accepted our own developed backyard design (they also provide this service). We work with them to bring to life our design to life, from tile selection, stepper aggregates and flower beds rocks to match what we envisioned. We are so happy the result is matching our design.

   Finding a great and reliable landscape company in Jax Beach area is tough as most of them charge unrealistic amount for little projects.

   We would recommend Beachscapes to anyone looking to redo their backyard and will contact them for all our future work in our garden. Thank you again.

   We couldn’t be happier. Dewey and team did a phenomenal job executing the remake of our backyard. Dewey came every morning to meet with us and go over what was going to be done that day and asked if there were anything they needed to do differently. We are looking forward to enjoying our new outdoor space! Look forward to our next project with Beachscapes! We would highly recommend!

   Dewey, Mike, and the Beachscapes team did an incredible job turning my backyard into a beach oasis.

   I reached out to Beachscapes with a rough idea of what I wanted for my backyard. I knew I wanted it to look better, but I needed help figuring out what “better” actually meant. Dewey came by for an in-person walkthrough and was incredibly helpful in talking through ideas and shaping a clear vision for the space. After our consultation, he came back with a 3D rendering that really helped me visualize the changes we were planning to make: demo of existing grass and bed creation, high-quality artificial turf installation, filling dirt beds with limestone rock, replacement of existing lighting, and landscape design.

   The Beachscapes team got to work quickly after we agreed to the scope of work. Throughout the work process, there were a couple of changes I wanted to make (like how to shape the turf), and the team was very willing to make changes and work with us.

   Communication was always A+. I really care about attention to detail, and their attention to detail was A+, too.

   We’ve been so excited to hang out in our finished backyard. I attached some photos so you can see what the finished product looks like, including a before and after.

   I would absolutely work with Beachscapes again in the future.

   !!BEWARE!! Owner has 17 year olds driving their vehicles that are uninsured. The owner does not take responsibility of damages caused. I was hit by their truck and trailer on 11/14/25. It is now 12/4/25, and the Owner has been avoiding assuming liability with the insurance claim I filed for weeks. If the Owner, Dewey, wants to assume liability immediatley for this, I would be happy to take this down.

   DO NOT HIRE THEM FOR FENCING!!!

   We hired Dewey to install a new fence. He quoted 3-4 days to complete. It took over 3 weeks for the fence to be installed. The work was terrible, incomplete, owner unresponsive and disrespectful in the end.

   The bracing on the fence was crooked, there were large gaps and uneven holes at the bottom of the fence (6”-12” in some spots). Hundreds of nails sticking through the fence, most of the posts were not at the same height and the gates did not work properly and some installed backwards.

   Dewey made one attempt to fix the gates and was unsuccessful. Instead of reinstalling them he left them on the ground with fence wide open for 2 days. After owner complaint, he put up a temp plastic fence, due a pool in backyard.

   He avoided calls and when asked for a date to complete…no response. Days later he sent a text stating they were not working due to holidays. This message came 6 weeks after the initial fence was supposed to be complete and the gates were still not reinstalled.

   We eventually had to hire another fencing company to install a new fence. Two companies quoted and both stated they could not use the poor quality, damaged wood, the posts were not the right size for gates, not installed securely…

   Dewey’s price was $5k more expensive than both the new fence quotes we received. The wood used by new company was thicker, better quality work and completed in 3 days.

   We requested Dewey to remove the fence and keep his wood and he refused. We reached out multiple times and sent an official letter and he has refused communication. He also refused to complete the project or refund any money back.

   For fencing I would stay far away from this company. We wanted to use a local company at the beach and disappointed we went with him. We gave him time and understanding and he still didn’t finish the job and was unprofessional.
