   While our new home was under construction, we hired Pools by Design to build our pool. We reviewed the company’s website, followed them on Facebook and Instagram, and reviewed the various reviews, both positive and negative. But what sold us on Pools By Design was meeting with Frank and the front office staff. The personal level of attention and their commitment to building quality pools is exceptional. Yes, we had our hiccups as anyone does during the construction process, but nothing that could not be overcome and nothing that prevented us from closing on time. In fact, our pool was completed prior to closing with no exceptions noted. We love sitting at our pool, enjoying cocktails and just watching the sunset reflect off the Organ Mountains in the early evening. Its been 15 months since closing and no issues have even arisen with our pools operations or maintenance. Thank you Pools By Design team! Great work!!

   This company started construction on my pool in early 2021. The pool was not completed until almost a year later. As others have mentioned, communication with them is non-existent until they want to be paid.
   After my pool was completed, less than a year later I noticed that my pool tile, that they sold me and installed, was fading, cracking and falling off. They said it was a tile issue and not an installation issue so they should not be held responsible. After a couple of emails and messages, all communication stopped. Since pool season is coming up again, I decided to contact a more reputable company to replace my tile and replaster my pool because some of the tile was at the waterline. This was done at great expense to me.
   As the dealer of my pool equipment, any issues I have had, they were not helpful in any way with solving them. I had to take matters into my own hands and contact the manufacturers myself. Each time the manufacturers were able to help me remedy the problems.
   Customer service is not a high priority for this company.

   Update. The owner posted a reply saying that I supplied this tile and they just installed it. This is absolutely not true. We bought the tile from them, but they miscalculated how much was needed to complete the job and told us their supplier was having trouble getting more. I found a supplier online and ordered enough for them to finish the job. They do not stand behind their work!

   We have officially taken possession of our beautiful new fiberglass pool. We chose the Latham Olympia 16×35 as it is a great mix use pool with a lap lane, ledge, lots of steps for lounging. Frank and his staff were professional, helpful and everything was delivered as promised! We are so excited to use it hopefully by the end of April! Highly recommend Pools By Design!

   Pools by Design built our 60’ x 12’ pool with a sauna in one corner in 2019. They did a beautiful job, and we have recommended them to friends in the area looking for a new pool. Now about 5 years old this pool is still beautiful and operates as designed. We had a different pool by a different company at a different home several years ago and it was nothing but trouble as it aged. Pools by Design has stood by their product and its warranty, and is quick to respond to any questions we have had over the years. There is a lot to be said for a company that is professional and continues to work with their customers after installation. We think very highly of this company and the services they provide.

   I helped my sister with her inground swimming pool construction. We researched as many companies as we could online. All the companies we checked had bad reviews. We almost gave up trying to hire someone. We did get three estimates and Pools by Design was the lowest priced. We usually do not go with the lowest bid but since every company we looked at had bad reviews we decided on going with Pools by Design. We signed the contract April 2023. Project was finished February 2024. Alot of the delays were waiting for the state inspectors to show up on site.
   We are very happy with the finished project. Frank and Yvonne were very professional and kept their word on everything we talked about. I kept waiting for something to go wrong but it never happened. There were a couple minor hiccups, but they were taken care of right away. Most of the bad reviews you see for Pools by Design were around the time of Covid. It was a very difficult time for all businesses to continue to operate as usual. I highly recommend Pools by Design.
