My pool cover has been functional for exactly 55 days out of the last year; for the other 310, it has been broken.
This company–and I use the term very loosely–is little more than a scam. They will go for months without responding; they will skip appointments; their repairs last for at most days before the installation breaks again–and again, and again.
Do not make the mistake of working with these people.
This is the most unprofessional and unreliable business I have ever dealt with. Buyer beware, they will overpromise and under deliver. I requested a replacement light service from them in May of this year. After months of excuses, delays, and poor customer service, I was finally able to get my job completed a week ago…. Yes… 3 months to replace a light bulb.
Here is what you can expect…not returning phone calls, not updating you with delays, door locked during posted business hours, poor scheduling, etc…..
Then…. The icing on the cake…. Their pool tech gets his Fish Tape stuck in the electric box conduit. Decides to leave the fish tape with my box exposed for about a week until they finally get the electricians to help him out.
But wait…. There’s more… this company has the audacity to send me a bill for the electricians labor. So I try calling the store during business hours and guess what….. no answer

This company is amazing! We had our auto pool cover replaced. They responded so quick! Excellent price and believe me we researched prices!! Manny the installer is amazing! Manny never tool a break!! He has great communication and excellent customer service skills! Highly recommended this company!!
Tidal wave and pool If I could give you no stars I would– It is wild to me that there can be so many good reviews and honestly I am jealous that some of you received good service from this company. The employees I have worked with were professional and nice, but I do not recommend using this company. I now know this company to be dishonest and unreliable. Wayne came and did a service appointment and he was great, Priscilla (before she left) was also great, the lady who now answers the phone very nice… you know who isn’t professional though the owner James. Who I have tried to get a hold of for the past 10 + weeks without any returned call. I have a broken hot tub and made an appointment for a service call to check it out back in February, this all went well – however I made the mistake of prepaying a 50% deposit for the part that was needed to fix the hot tub. I figured this was normal.. That was on February 10th. Guess what’s not fixed the hot tub -I have had no refund, no call back, no acknowledgment what so ever regarding the inconvenience or the stolen money(because that what it is now). I have been told the only person who can refund me is James – James has no direct line, no set hours. I have called 20+ times and he still hasn’t returned my calls. . I went up to the store to see if I could discuss it with him in person but an employee called James to let him know I was there and then James didn’t come in I would just like the almost $300 refunded. I’d also like to add how much this has screwed me as we have a home warranty that is supposed to reimburse me once the repairs are fixed that expires next month – so thanks James because now my HW will run out and then even if I am refunded my hot tub will still be broken. I don’t leave all of this lightly I have felt bad writing such a bad review but this is what happens when you give bad service and I just want to protect other families. We’re a military family and don’t have the luxury of being able to ask a ton of people who they would recommend to repair something, I looked online I read a few reviews even before I called this place and figured there were enough good ones and that the negative ones must have been exaggerating… now I am confident the good ones must be the ones exaggerating.
I tried to make an appointment with this business 5 times. The owner NEVER showed up within 6 hours of when he said he would. The pattern was that no more than 30 minutes before, his office would call and cancel, even when the appointment had been scheduled for a week.
The first appointment, he was to come to our home in the afternoon to take measurements. He supposedly showed up that morning and let himself into our backyard and measured. I was home. I didn’t see him, and our dog (a Giant Schnauzer that makes protecting our home her business) did not bark.
The last appointment, I was informed when I arrived at his office that they had just left a message on my machine at home. He had decided to pass on the business because I’m expecting an insurance claim. I told his office many times in more than 10 phone calls I did NOT expect him to deal with insurance. I would do that on my own.
He listens as well as he keeps his word – not a great trait in this case.
