While the pool is wonderful, the showers have been without hot water for months. Staff notes a repair request has been submitted, but no actual repair is started or scheduled! With Sava pool closed and Coffman pool about to be closed on 2/10, this leaves few options available nearby.
This is a very nice indoor pool, with the water temperature kept around 80+ degrees. The cost is $8 to swim, and a 10 visit pass (that never expires) is $72.
On 7/26 I asked to see the pool before setting up a session to swim + register. I was told by front desk staff “NO because they will close in 30 minutes!!!!!” I thought this was a public swimming pool open to the public. I am also a women of color, so just turned off by the service and first impression.
We had a good experience at Balboa Pool! The lifeguards were nice and professional, creating a safe environment for everyone.
This place is actually really good inconvenience I block rooms. There’s a washer where you could soak out all the water from your swimming suits and also the 4 feet pool is actually really good for kids and the other pool next to it is really good for teenagers and adults because they could actually stand in it it’s a really good pool and it’s really convenient and it only cost 8 to 9 dollars there for each person in the family time, there’s barely even people there so you could have the place all to yourself when I went there, there was only two families and it wasn’t even that big there was only a mother and a daughter and there’s very small families with just one parent or two parents with some of their kids it’s a really good place and I recommend going there and it’s a very friendly neighborhood pool and also the lifeguards were really nice and actually looking at the people trying to take care of them and they were very friendly and nice
