Freyr and his crew were professional, diligent and thorough. They took great care during the process of removal and left my yard clean. I would recommend their services to anyone.
I have used Castor Tree Services for a number of jobs over the past 5 years (perhaps more). I can easily say you won’t go wrong getting them to quote on your job. They’re professional, reasonably priced, easy to work with and very accommodating. I last used their services April 2025. They did pruning, tree removal and trimmed /shaped a massive pine. They did a fabulous job. I also added more items as we got through the day. Still a great value and price!! When they left my property it looked way better then when they arrived. There work and clean up is top tier!! You can thank me later!!
Castor did a fantastic job removing my tree. they are extremely efficient took all the wood away did a perfect cleanup.
Highly recommended very competitive price.
Friar and his team are reliable, reasonabley priced and great service.
They cut my tree stumps right to the core amazing clean up and hardworking team.I highly recommend these guys, they don’t mess around. Fantastic thanks Friar
We hired this arborist company because their quote was significantly lower than others we received. Unfortunately, this may have been one of those “you get what you pay for” lessons.
We asked for the trees in our backyard to be lightened on top and on the right-hand side, where they were leaning and could pose a risk in heavy winds. While they did cut the tops as discussed, they did not remove any weight from the right side. Instead, they cut branches from the middle of the trees, which was not part of the request.
To make matters worse, when my husband asked them to stop, one of the workers stepped on a big branch and broke it—right in the middle of the tree. Now, there is a large, gaping hole where branches were both cut and broken.
The result is devastating: our once lush and private backyard now exposes the unattractive shed and garage walls behind the trees, giving the space an industrial, barren look.
I have not sat in the backyard since the work was done. It used to be my favourite part of our home—a peaceful oasis with a new deck and greenery we invested in years ago.
Now, it is unusable. Too much sun, no privacy, and visually unpleasant. Even a friend who recently visited gasped at the sight. It is that bad.
Please be warned: do not let this happen to you. Pay the extra cost to hire true professionals. Our backyard is ruined, and it cannot be fixed
