Frank is super knowledgeable, innovative, and always solution-based. A master of pool equipment, including upgrades and repairs. On top of that, he’s also a really nice guy.

Frank was super quick to reply and was able to give us a quick diagnosis and quote on our pump. I told him our priorities, and he was able to let us know that this issue was not a critical one and what the risk was if we could wait. We will be reaching out to him when we’re ready to replace the parts!

Frank was awesome to work with. Diagnosed and explained all the needed repairs. Pool running much better now!

We had an emergency situation (non-responsive pool heater 2 days before a 6-year old’s birthday party) and at 6pm on a Friday, with no history working together, Frank returned our call and spent 20 minutes trouble-shooting the situation with us. We were able to get the heater working and it saved the day. Incredibly grateful for the generosity he showed. Thanks.

Frank came out, never gave us a rate, went straight to trying to resolve the issue I mentioned. I checked on him multiple times, never established how or what he charged. Left after 1.5 hours still not resolving the issue. Later that weekend, I solved it… Was a simple issue. Broken automatic valve. I told him what happened and offered to pay him still and he sent me a bill for $225.. the full amount of time her spent on it. If the terms were clear and I let him continue, I would expect to pay the full amount. I offered to pay for an hour since that’s when I would have stopped him if he was charging me and still had no idea how to solve. He became livid over email and insisted I pay. I did pay to put it behind me and because he obviously needs the money if he’s going to act this desperately.

I do not recommend him but if you do use him, get his rates up front and be crystal clear about what he’s charging. He will take advantage of you.

Update (after Frank’s response): I did contact you to resolve. It was $219 (correction to above) and Feb 28. I have the entire thread I am more than happy to share here. No disclosure of your rate or how you charged, your email response shows no denial of that. Only your insistence of me paying the full amount (despite my offer for 1 hour). After that, I quickly paid. The reason I mention it here is to help others avoid being taken advantage of. Again, happy to share the thread here and receipt.
