   Alair Homes takes the stress out of stressful! We hired Alair Homes in Houston to build our dream house in 2022. We had been warned by friends that building a home would be one of the most stressful things we could ever do, but with Alair Homes, that was simply not the case. We initially hired Alair for the Design/Build phase of our home. Bryan, the owner, sat in on every meeting with our architect, to help give perspective on our plans and that what we dreamed of was realistic from a cost perspective. After we completed our initial plans, we worked with our project manager, Cody Ryden, and Alison Cottet, Alair’s designer to pick all of our custom selections. Although this took an investment of time up front, it paid off in dividends in the long term. Because we picked everything prior to breaking ground, Alair was able to provide us with an accurate line item quote, because we knew exactly what brand of tile and exactly which chandelier was going in every room. Our house was completed in about 12 months from time we broke ground to moving in. We were UNDER budget on many items. In the end, we did go slightly over but those were related to changes my husband and I decided to make along the way, not because our project was quoted inaccurately. I have had friends that worked with builders that ended up paying hundreds of thousands of dollars over what they were initially quoted. That did not happen here- all of our friends are shocked when we tell them we stayed on budget! Alair’s communication with us was great, and Cody and Alison were both really good at understanding me and my husband’s unique personalities, and communicating in a way that we each were happy in the end. We’ve lived in our house for 4 months now and another builder started a house across the street at the same time as ours, and it is still not done! We could not have been happier with the timing in which our house was built and that it did not sacrifice quality!! I am truly living in my dream home that was made possible because of Alair’s attention to detail and fantastic ability to build a luxury home. The first night we slept in the house I kept waking up all night because I was so happy that this home was mine! If you are looking for a quality home builder in the Houston/Bellaire area, then we cannot recommend Alair enough!
