We’ve had our Ideal Turf since November of last year. It is as beautiful today as it was the day it was installed. We have 3 dogs who love the turf. They lie on it as if it’s carpet and play very rambunctiously. Our experience with everyone was fantastic. I was impressed by how professional and courteous everyone was from beginning to end. We were also surprised about how quickly the entire process went. It was worth every dime. We now have a continuously beautiful yard.
Absolutely horrible company to work with post sales cash collection. We made our first warranty contact on 3/9/2023 and have yet to have any positive resolution.
Poor product is not as advertised! The product does not drain or control odors as advertised and sold. We specifically asked detailed questions regarding odor having had three previous homes with turf for the dogs. This turf is horrific even with daily odor control sprays and who wants to use chemicals or other perfumed products daily with your furbabies in the area?? The dogs near refuse to use the area. $13,000 PLUS, PLUS!
They damaged multiple marked irrigation lines as well as landscape wire taking out needed tree illumination in our dogs area. We spent an additional $1800 SO FAR on repairs.
The owner, Tim Taylor, does not respond to e-mails, messages or phone calls. Karri O’Connor has no authority to resolve customer issues without direct owner involvement and he is always “out of town”. The warranty manager doesn’t even respond to calls, texts or emails. Almost daily contact since 3/9 and still no resolution. Warranty services post sale are non existent!
Filed complaints with BBB (multiple complaints from others with BBB for similar issues) and filing with the Texas AG Consumer Protection division. Unfortunately at this point and after month, we will have to file a suit to resolve.
Be extremely cautious working with this company as there is limited to no post sales warranty or customer service. Horrific how this company is managed.
Update on 9/12/23 – still zero response from anyone and now the turf is fading to white. This product and company is HORRID!!!! Please don’t use them!!!
Ideal Turf recently completed a back yard project for us. We found the company easy to work with. The estimator was able to provide several options to choose from. The installation crew was knowledgeable, efficient and hard working. The lawn looks great, and we were very pleased with the project. Unfortunately, after one year of use, we tried to get the company to come back and touch up some areas where the turf flattened. We were told the company was out of business and the new owner was not obligated to honor the warranty. He said he would consider our situation but ghosted us on any follow up attempts. Originally gave them 5 star for the installation. Now I would advise against using this company.
Dog pen… Ideal Turf did an amazing job! I could not be more satisfied with the whole process, from the first time I called and spoke with Mary, and then meeting with Logan to come up with a design/plan, then the installation crew that did a perfect job! If you are thinking about artificial turf, call them!

Jason Utley with Ideal Turf was great with working with us for multiple quotes, amendments to the quotes, and facilitating scheduling of installation. From there, Tristan worked closely with us ensuring that issues that arose were handled quickly, professionally, and at a fair price. Francisco (I think it was Iberra) and his team were awesome, knocking out a nearly 1,500 sq ft installation of Blossom 98 turf in just two days, consulting with us for best practices with sprinklers, leveling/grading, and installing barriers along our fence lines. Francisco’s team was punctual, left no mess behind, worked around existing trees, and the workmanship was solid. Ideal Turf also came in at a cheaper price than some of the other companies we requested quotes from.
