My husband and I built our dream outdoor grill island ourselves using Grillnetics frame system. They were very helpful during the process and the frames had the backer board ready for stone. We are very happy with the results. We also purchased the doors and Blaze grill through them.
In my opinion you would have to be crazy to give these guys any money upfront!
Purchased a Lynx grill through Grillnetics, they shipped it to the wrong customer. They said they would “fix” it, and did so by shipping the grill across the country as cheaply as possible. 4 cities later and it arrived to me as pictured.
Grillnetics initially said they would replace or refund the damaged grill. For months they gave excuse after excuse as to why they needed more time to find the funds to refund me. I was promised by their CEO in writing that the check was cut.
It was not. The CEO had left the company. Everyone had jumped ship and whomever was left was ducking all calls and emails.
I contested the charges through my credit card and that was the only time Grillnetics responded.
They refused to take responsibility for the damage and I had to get my brand new grill repaired by Lynx the grill manufacturer. Even though Lynx was not responsible for the damage they said they would repair the grill as even they were appalled by Grillnetics actions.
It’s not just me either. There is a Facebook message group discussing how to get our money back for non delivery or damaged goods from Grillnetics.
Whatever Grillnetics tells you, “change of management, new start, whatever…” do not let these guys hold a deposit, you are risking your money. Buyer Beware.
Grillnetics has a product and service that are unmatched. Their design and construction are excellent and the final product is beautiful.
The customer service and the actual kitchen product package I bought from Grillnetics is amazing. Starting with the sales support provided by Bryon to the technical support Andy helped me with, I could not be happier. The project came out just the way I envisioned it, maybe better…
Design team was adequate, when I ordered it was delivered about 4 weeks later. Took a week off of work to assemble. I built an L shaped kitchen, products seemed solid, but corner cabinet was wrong size. They shipped out a replacement, said they were going to over night it but it took 2 days. When it arrived the base magnesium board was broken in half. Since I didn’t have time to wait another 2 days, I used extra pieces to construct a floor board. When I complained they eventually offered an extended warranty. Unable to finish assembly in a week due to delay of corner unit. Threw off my level without the corner unit being available. I had to use quite a bit of cement board to shim top up to level for countertop. Also would recommend am 8′ level instead of a 4′ level. Then cross bars on the tops of cabinet are not quite all level.
Also bought grill and other accessories from them, grill showed up 2 weeks after the base cabinets.
Overall impression: good product, communication and customer service sub par. If I were to build another outdoor kitchen I would probably look elsewhere.
