   It’s nice for people and all of the students to exercise. There are gym, swimming pool, and all kinds of ball courts

   The Aquatics Coordinator, Maggie McGuffee, was disappointing. Instead of creating a welcoming environment at the rec center, she seemed overly focused on enforcing rules in a strict and unprofessional manner. Her approach came across as dismissive, and she made people feel uncomfortable, even driving some out of the swimming pool. There is a significant lack of customer service and respectful communication in her interactions.

   Nice small university Recreation center with lots of options and good staff. Staff is there to help answer questions and supervise the areas as necessary. They were quick to respond to issues as we needed them. They redid the outside lights so it looks nice and is well lit. Lots of machines to use and never seems too crowded.

   I visit it twice a day. Weight room meets all my body-building needs ( arms, shoulder, chest, legs, back, abdominal..). The indoor basketball court is professional, and it’s free to borrow a ball (and the ball feels very good). Staff are warm and helpful. Outdoor swimming pool is large and very clean.
   Last but not least–it’s very cheap, just $53 for grad student one semester. I would still go there even if it’s $530 🙂
