After 40 years of supplying at least 50 percent of my materials for my cabinets from alpine builders, I have taken the last abuse from Jamie who has taken over since his father Jim passed away who was always a pleasure to see upon visiting this lumber yard. in my 40 years of building cabinets in Santa Fe New Mexico as a custom Cabinet builder, never have I been treated as rudely from any supplier after supporting them for 40 years and never a late payment. it is my regret that I have reached my last straw.
I bought a $100 sheet of plywood and had it cut to size. Almost immediately after I installed it, it began to split and separate. My theory is that it had been sitting in our dry climate for too long and was no longer viable. Such a waste of money, time, and labor.
They had panels i needed, they have largest variety of species wood I’ve seen !

Really disappointing customer service and above market prices. Only shop here if you have no other options.
Just went there to get a block of wood cut to size. Almost no one else in Santa Fe would do it. It was a small job worth (see picture) about $5 to them, but they did it exactly as I needed it; quickly. I’m happy there is a place like this in Santa Fe.
