From the very beginning, this company has been 100% genuine. Marty was absolutely brilliant–full of smart ideas and always focused on what truly benefits the customer. Even after the contract was signed, he still went out of his way to save me money, nearly $1,000, by reducing demolition costs and recommending the best repair approach for my aging balcony. That level of honesty and care is rare.

On top of that, Marty has a great personality–knowledgeable, approachable, and just a pleasure to work with (go Cowboys!).

I also had the chance to work with his coworker Carlos, another sharp and thoughtful professional. Carlos was extremely detail-oriented and focused on preventing future headaches by asking the right questions throughout the entire process.

I’m writing this review while the project is still in progress, but I already felt compelled to share my experience. I’ll be back soon with a follow-up and video testimonial once everything is completed.

Finally, after meeting the crew, it was clear every single person is a true team player. Having worked in the construction industry myself, I can confidently say this company has incredible assets. The crew was clean, organized, and professional–like the good old days. These are people you can trust even when you’re not there (I was out running errands).

Thanks for a great job! will definitely come back again.

    This company is exceptional!

This is an update to my review from 6 years ago. I have been using Creative Coatings for almost ten years to maintain and resurface the concrete around my home and the epoxy/urethane floors in my garages. They have done an excellent job every time! Before I found Marty and this company, I had to have all of it resealed every two years. This company’s reseal lasted NINE years.

As I mentioned in my prior review, before I found Creative Coatings, I was so frustrated I wanted to jackhammer out the concrete and replace it with pavers. Every time I used a different company, the acrylic reseal would only last two years and nobody even mentioned doing it in urethane. Since I found this company, I love the concrete more than pavers because the maintenance is reasonable and I have complete flexibility with changing the colors and texture over time. They promised me it would look great for almost ten years and that is exactly what I got.

This time, I resealed the front again but completely changed the back. They repaired the concrete cracking and spalling in multiple locations, applied an alkali blocker and skim coated the entire rear patio. They applied a knockdown texture and color sealer and the results are simply amazing. It looks like brand new concrete with a perfect finish. It’s now been six months and it is holding up great and still looks like the day it was installed. Also, it is much cooler to walk on and the texture is perfect. Just as Marty had promised, it is now comfortable to walk on while barefoot, not as slippery as regular concrete when wet and, despite the texture, still hoses off easily. These were all issues we had from our last home with cool decking and this is so much better! It couldn’t look or function any better. I have attached pictures.

I can’t recommend this company more. They make excellent recommendations, they do excellent work, and they stand behind their work. Also, they have saved me the most amount of money over the long run. Overall, I have been very impressed and I strongly recommend them.

Pushed me to sign their Docusign and lock in a date. pushed me for 50% down to lock in date. “We will be there Monday morning!” Monday morning i get a text “we will be there between 3-4pm”. it’s 4:20pm.

Do what you say, when you say you’re going to do it. It’s that easy. If you can’t handle this part, why would I trust you to actually do the work and stand by the warranty.

I’ll just find someone else. It’s that easy.

Update: showed up at 5pm ringing the doorbell. Next morning they call and said “they don’t like to promise anything”. Keep that in mind when picking a vendor, do you really want someone who “doesn’t like to promise anything”?

Creative Coatings was hired by my builder to provide drainage and coat our walk out decks. Water doesn’t completely drain and leaves pools of water near the drain. When the covers are on the drains it’s even worse so I had to remove them. My builder had Creative Coatings come out to evaluate the situation and they said that the deck was in tolerance and that the water should go away in the Vegas heat within 24 hours. I said, “So what happens when it rains or if I wash my deck with water and the dirt puddles up?” His response was, “It doesn’t rain in Vegas. Use a push broom.” They also left globs of deck finish all over instead of flattening the finish out. I’ve attached a couple picture showing this – zoom in on them and you’ll see where they clearly didn’t finish it. I would steer clear of this company.

Update (9/27/22): I didn’t hire Creative Coatings, my builder, Christopher Homes did as they stated in their comment, but I did have interactions with Creative Coatings when they came to examine the drainage problem on the deck. I was asked to be there to show them the problem. Instead of taking responsibility that the deck should drain, they just gave excuses. Today, the builder came out to inspect the deck, and I was given an ultimatum that the only way Creative Coatings would correct this problem is if I removed this Google Review. Suddenly they want to fix it even though they said in their comment that it’s a “framing issue.” I’ve attached pictures that show the deck framed before they started work. It also shows in other pictures where there was already the issue of puddling water and staining before they put the final coat on. If a company does quality work and guarantees their workmanship by correcting mistakes instead of making excuses I would have happily removed the review. However, they continue to make excuses and now want to place the blame on the house framing when you can clearly see they designed the drainage system. They create the slope of how the water should drain when they apply the waterproof coating. I have two decks in this house with 10 drains total. Almost all of them have this same issue. Las Vegas has a lot of dust and every homeowner has the right to wash their decks and not have dirt and water stains accumulate in these puddles of stagnant water. For them to say it’s within tolerance and to use a push broom is unacceptable. Taking a hose and rinsing a deck on a brand new $1.5 million dollar home is not drenching a deck using excessive water – it’s just normal cleaning.

We chose Creative Coatings to surface grind, epoxy coat, full-flake in cappuccino color, and poly-aspartic seal the garage floor in our new home. The crew arrived on-time and took meticulous care of our new home by masking off our garage walls and paver driveway, before they began the process. Installation took a few hours across two days to allow time for drying between coats. The crew respected our home and left us with a beautiful garage floor that we almost don’t want to drive on it is so nice! We recommend this company without reservation!
