We had just moved here and didn’t know who to call. I googled some companies and looked through Lone Star’s previous jobs and pictures. They had positive reviews and as Seniors, this always concerns us of being taken advantage of.
LoneStar rep, Chris came to speak with us and made several suggestions as the previous owners hadn’t done anything with the yard for years.
We were from Texas and the name Lone Star to us was a sign that we were meant to go with them!
They scraped the front yard, widened our front driveway, added an additional driveway, gave us a new side yard and a Lanai. We use those areas now more than ever!

We are pleased with our complete landscape renovation for our house in Paradise Valley.
From the moment we met, the entire team was professional and listened. They transformed both our front yard and backyard exactly as we envisioned.
The travertine pavers and landscape lighting makes the entire property glow and the pickleball court is great.
The crew was respectful and the quality of workmanship on the hardscape, softscape, irrigation, and outdoor lighting is top-notch.
Chris and Christy managed the rebuild of my pool and backyard and it turned out beautiful. It was enjoyable to talk about ideas to enhance the aesthetics and rely on their experience. They never panicked when I proposed another idea for a change and worked with me to flush the idea out and make it happen. The crews doing the work were friendly and professional. They really did great work.
We obtained several bids for a simple outdoor BBQ. We went with Lonestar Landscaping because their gallery of photos was beautiful, the Google reviews were very positive, and we liked Chris when he came out for the bid. In the end, we are really happy with the outcome. It took way longer than we had thought – nearly 3 1/2 months for this BBQ. There were times when we couldn’t get ahold of Chris and weeks when nothing happened. While some was due to Christmas, the project didn’t seem well coordinated – they had to re-do several aspects of the build due to lack of coordination of the appliances (eg size, orientation, placement). Maybe we were just a small project and work wasn’t a priority, but just seemed like there wasn’t precise project management.
Cris and his team did a fantastic job. They completely stripped the backyard and installed pavers, artificial grass, bar with built in BBQ, fire pit, plants, irrigation system and 20×20 shade structure. He was very attentive to ideas and gave us excellent suggestions. We absolutely love our new space.
