Eric at Summersweet replaced my old fence that was falling down with a coyote fence. Roughly 300 feet and two gates. His crew worked for 5 weeks and it is beautiful. They took care of the surrounding area and the removal. I can not say enough about their work and quality. Thank you so much for a job well done.
Eric and his team did an amazing job from start to finish. After a couple of meetings to understand our goals for our primarily dirt yard, SummerSweet designed and executed the project with a personal touch. If you appreciate doing business with a handshake and having access to a project manager, then I would recommend SummerSweet. All work was done to our expectations, and careful attention was paid to drainage and safety concerns with our yard.
We had a small backyard that was dirt, and needed to be landscaped. I didn’t want to spend a ton, so I sought several quotes. Eric and Carmela were great to work with, quick to respond to my request, and who I chose to work with. My wife and I wanted a say in the plants selected for our yard, and Eric allowed us to pick what we wanted, and provided input on plants if we had questions. When it came to the install, Eric’s crew was fantastic. They performed quality work, were conscientious, did things the right way (instead of taking short-cuts), and were a pleasure to work with. Eric and crew were flexible in adapting to our requests and changes to the original bid. The crew did a great job leveling the ground, installing irrigation to the plants, installing the trees perfectly vertical, and always cleaned up at the end of the day. We are thrilled with the outcome.
Unfortunately, I am unable to give 5 stars. There was no management onsite during the landscaping which caused several issues. Communication was often confrontational for no reason. Several of my requests during the design process were not incorporated and when mentioned they were missing, additional money was demanded. I had to come home everyday at lunch during the landscaping process because the plans we not being followed (holes dug in wrong locations, spacing not considered, etc.). That should have been the job of the manager/owner. I also have issues with the sprinkler lines being cemented over and the tile coming up (I’m sure they will fix it again, just the hassle of the whole thing).
The team that was onsite was nice and they took pride in their work.
Beautiful job, but water feature didn’t function correctly. The mark of a great company is service after the sale. Eric solved the problem over a weekend. Great crew, great job.
