    Amazing customer service, honest, and incredibly knowledgeable. Michael P. Not only rebuilt my pool pump motor, but provided hands on instruction on how to take it off and put the new one back on. Even gave me his cell number just in case I had questions. The pricing was very fair and reasonable. You can’t go wrong with this company.

    After noticing loud noises coming from my 20-year-old pool pump, I decided to give Best Pool Supply a call. Eric noted that the issue was most likely caused by a bad pool motor, and that I should bring it in to see what they could do. He mentioned right out of the gate that the least expensive route would be to try and retrofit a new motor to the old pump as a solution. This could save me $1000 or more vs purchasing a brand-new pump. Other shops I have dealt with in the past would have jumped on this opportunity to sell me an entire new pump.

    I brought the pump motor down to the shop and Michael (the owner) recommended a motor that would be a good fit/replacement. Stated that he would start the process right away, and that he would call me in a couple of days when he was finished. He didn’t ask for any type of deposit.

    The next day Michael called me and said it was ready. He noted that the impeller connected to my old motor did look a little suspect (a very slight blemish/divot in the shaft) but rather than just charging me for a brand-new impeller that I might not need, he wanted me to give it a try. He also mentioned that he did not change a rubber gasket on the diffuser that looked just fine. These gaskets cost $20 or more, and he didn’t want to charge me for anything unnecessary.

    Went home and hooked up the new motor. Unfortunately, there was a tiny leak…..really just a few drops of water over an hour or so of running coming from the unit. Personally, I was ok with it. Didn’t seem like a huge issue, but I texted Michael on his personal cell phone to let him know. Yes…he gave me from his PERSONAL CELL PHONE. He told me that it wasn’t ok and that he would make it right. All these texts were after shop hours, on Michael’s personal time, and over the weekend, to let me know that he would order a new impeller from his distributor. That I could bring the pump down when they opened on Monday, and that he would change out the impeller for me.

    Fast forward to Monday. Michael changed out the impeller AT HIS COST. It wasn’t his fault my impeller was cracked and could have easily charged me retail for the part. Didn’t charge any labor for the tear down or replacement of anything….Said that he was going to make it right even if the impeller wasn’t the root cause of the leak. In addition, he noted that my diffuser had some scoring from where the impeller was rubbing over the past 20 years. He had a spare diffuser that was in good condition and would work for my model of pump, so he installed it. He did not charge me for the spare diffuser!!!

    Great news….I went home and installed the new pump and no leaks. Good to go.

    Bottom line….if you want to deal with a shop that is honest, trying to save you money, and reliable, this is your place. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

    These guys are awesome! They have helped us resolve every issue we have had with the pool, making my life way easier. By the time I’m done paying they’ve already got my trunk loaded up. Hands down best service in town!
