If you have a small yard, pop-up greenhouses are a space-saving solution that anyone – regardless of gardening skills – can use.

Compact, lightweight and easy to store, these handy structures allow you to grown your own fresh produce in even the smallest of spaces.

While most people around the world will be able to grow salads and vegetables during summer, those in the cooler regions can struggle to get ahead during spring, with unpredictable cold snaps.

By trapping heat and shielding plants against harsh gusts of wind, pop-up greenhouses can help when growing fruit and veggies.

To use pop-up greenhouses effectively, it’s best to place yours somewhere sunny and sheltered, ideally near a wall or fence with at least three or four hours of direct sun each day, reported Homes and Gardens.

In smaller spaces, green-fingered Americans might be restricted in terms of placement, but aiming for maximum dose of sunshine should always be the priority.

If you’re planning on placing the greenhouse on the roof terrace or balcony, be sure to weigh your pop-up greenhouse down.

As these structures are remarkably light, they can unexpectedly take off the moment there’s a stronger breeze of wind.

Aldi’s version, which will set you back just $39.99, has already become a hit on social media, with one shopper dubbing it ”best $39.99” they’ve ever spent.

Sharing their epic find on X – formerly known as Twitter – gardening fan Micah said in the post: ”We finally put up the greenhouse! I feel like a homesteader now.

”Best $39.99 I’ve ever spent. Thanks, @AldiUSA,” the 26-year-old tagged the discount retailer in the caption.

The lightweight greenhouse – which fittingly is in the color green – comes with a total of eight compartments – or four on each side.
