   After a long search, I’m so glad I found Deck Express! From our very first meeting, Diogo was professional, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable. He provided multiple suggestions and helped me choose the best materials, colors, and layout to fit my needs. He then gave us a fair and transparent quote.

   When the renovation began, the team arrived right on time — literally ringing the bell three minutes before their scheduled start. The crew worked diligently every day from 8 AM to 5 PM until the project was complete. Christian and Geovanni went above and beyond throughout the entire process. They made sure to clean the work area at the end of each day, and even cleaned the siding and deck before the final reveal.

   Before completion, I requested a small adjustment, and it was handled immediately and without hesitation. That level of customer care is hard to find!

   Deck Express truly stands out for their professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction. I highly recommend them — don’t hesitate to choose Deck Express for your next project!

   We are so happy with our new deck! Diogo Silverio is both incredibly knowledgeable and personable – a rare combination. Thanks in large part to Diogo and his crew, we turned our steep-slope backyard into an oasis.

   The Deck Express built us a freestanding deck with an integrated hot tub, from which we have views of the Manhattan skyline. The project required careful coordination across architect, engineering firm, Township inspectors, electrician and hot tub supplier, and Diogo did an excellent job working with all stakeholders.

   Special kudos as well to Jefferson and his hardworking crew. They take great pride in their work. Example: when there was a little delay due to the Township inspector being out of the office, the wood frame had gotten wet from the rain. To avoid any risk of the beams warping, Jefferson insisted on replacing the wood beams (free of charge). These beams are hidden, and I would have never noticed the difference. How many contractors would take this extra step, at their expense? Their attention to detail was second to none.

   Another small but telling example: there’s an access gate under the deck (for hot tub maintenance). The crew installed a little cord on the gate, so it can be opened from the inside – just in case one day our intrepid 5-year-old may explore this new “hiding space” and not be able to get out. That’s next-level customer care!

   I can’t recommend the Deck Express enough. And to top it all off, their pricing was very reasonable. All in all, an outstanding experience and we look forward to many years of enjoying our deck and hot tub.

   I can’t recommend Deck Express enough! Diogo, the owner, is so personable and helped a lot choosing product, color and design for my Trex Transcend deck. He has a good eye and doesn’t hesitate to make suggestions. Elly was was calming and efficient with obtaining HOA approvals. What I liked most is that Diogo was very flexible and encouraging when I decided to change some things as pattern of boards, placement of gate, railing type, etc. Also, their skill and expertise came into play when it was determined that Trex didn’t have a gate to go with the horizontal pattern of my railings. Diogo was able to figure out a workaround to construct a matching gate, which looks great. His crew were so hard working, polite and timely and I’m looking forward to using my beautiful new deck in the Spring. Thank you for your perfection and hard work!

   Diogo and crew did an amazing job replacing our rotting teak wood staircase. Now we have Trex that look amazing and will last us many years.

   Our home has a large deck (1030 sq ft), and need to replace our old wood deck with new one. Even though we have already read numerous excellent reviews before we decide to let Deck Express handle our deck project, Diogo Silverio’s team still exceeded our expectations. Everybody in the team: team lead Jeff, other members: Romario, Sidney and Christian have done an excellent job.

   First of all, Diogo’s communication was excellent. He always responded quickly, and explained everything clearly to us. When he feels something he can’t do, he told us right upfront. Whenever he promised something, he delivered exactly as he promised. It’s very agreeable working with him. Also, the entire project from beginning to finish, completed less than one week.

   His team’s work quality is excellent, that’s the most important part we feel very happy about. Our old deck was supported by three wooden stake before，which is a little shaky before the remodel. His team created and added number of extra wooden stakes, dug into earth as deep as a big bucket under each one, then fill up with concrete, with 4 x 4 concrete deck blocks on them, so the deck feels very solid afterwards, no longer has shaky feelings even if we jump on the deck floor. Also, they examed each area of the deck, add some enhancement on the old frame of the deck. They also added some frame woods that they felt needs to be enhanced (which is beyond our expectations). This was our biggest remodel project we have done in past years, but it is the most satisfied one.

   We are a member of Warren Township email group. Days ago, when our Warren township neighbors were asking a deck vendor, needs to repair his deck. We recommend him Deck Express, because we believe they are the number one contractor who can do excellent deck projects.
