Charles and his son were the best part of long project of outdoor remodeling. We have had to employ various trades such as concrete, pool repair, New fence folks, Plumbers, and electricians for our back yard project. Deck the House was a choice that went more towards a belief that they would do a craftsman’s job, as opposed to just a deck. That we got and more! From the skirting around the deck, to the hand sanded railings, we got our money’s worth and more. Charles starts early, and does a great job of communicating his plan, and implementing that plan. His was not the cheapest bid, but the results were the perfect example of you get what you pay for!
Charles and his son did an amazing job. I am beyond grateful for the work they did. They also did two jobs at my parents house as well. When I first met Charles, I shared my thoughts on what I wanted and he was able to make it even better!!!!
Deck the House features a stellar father/son duo in Charlie Wells and his son who do extraordinary work. They took a sad cement slab back porch, and turned it into the natural extension/highlight of our home. Charlie’s extensive experience guided our project and exceeded all our expectations. The price was very reasonable, and the project was completed in two and a half short days in the cold of winter. Would highly recommend this veteran owned family business!
Charlie built me a new front porch with a roof addition. He put me on his waiting list (I had to wait about 2 months, but that proves he does quality work and is in demand). He kept me informed of when he expected to start. He showed up early on the day he started and told me it would be about 3-4 days to completion. He was true to his word. He was cleaning up on day 4. I more than pleased with his work and plan to hire him again for my back deck.
If you have a deck project look no further than Deck the House. Charlie Wells is a top notch carpenter and designer with years of experience who does what he says. He and his son work together, both have a tremendous work ethic, and pay attention to detail. We are extremely happy with our deck project and will hire him for any other fencing or outdoor construction projects!
