Need Trex? They either have it or will get it! I need a small quantity of Trex in square edge Honey Grove color. Lowe’s and Home Depot were unable to help. Decks & Docks got it for me and even cut it to lengths that fit in my Ford Expedition. Reasonable prices too. Next project I will be ordering from here.
Let’s just make a quick comparison…
>Home Depot offers discount for a certain quantity but doesn’t honor the price if they don’t have enough, they don’t load your truck by default, they don’t cull boards and they don’t care whether the load is secure in your truck bed as far as I can tell.
>Bayou City offers great prices, they load your truck, they secure the lumber in your truck and they cull boards that are not up to standard. I bought deck boards; they were all straight and mostly unblemished.
I could never choose another supplier after having enjoyed my recent experience with Bayou City!
Bought a ton of lumber from these guys a few years ago, and it’s still in fantastic shape! No signs of excessive wear or rotting. Going back soon for another project! Would highly recommend. Note: we had the lumber shipped to us, the longest thing we ordered was about 16′, and it was shipped to us on a flatbed 18-wheeler. Just a heads-up in case your space is limited; this was a few years ago, not sure if they still do it this way. Still, I highly recommend this place!!
I’ve never been to a lumber place before, however I went to Lowe’s off of Pearland parkway to get a 4 x 4. And I needed help getting it cut down to a manageable size. The guy told me that he can cut it for me and he got it down to a foot. I wasn’t sure how much it would cost but God gave him and his team a heart of gold.
