As a contractor, I’m always looking for new and innovative materials. I heard about this material on YouTube and knew I wanted to try it out. On the first chance I had to build an elevated deck, I I knew I wanted to use Duxxbak Decking. This product installs super easy and built to last. The integration of a “gutter” makes this one step install my absolute favorite. Hands down my favorite decking to work with!
We needed a new deck a complete replacement so decided on the DuxxBak product to provide us with a better deck and a water shedding solution to provide us a usable dry space below our deck, and provide protection for the superstructure. Our contractor Carolina Deck Designs LLC did an amazing outstanding job exceeding all our expectations and so the DuxxBak product!
Best decking you can get for long term quality. My father in law has had Duxxbak boards on his home for the last 5 years and has had zero issues, still looks fantastic, and no maintenance!

After 21 years of sealing and staining our deck, it was pretty splintered and ratty-looking. Researched the available composite decking material and decided to go with Duxxbak (then sold as “Geodeck”) which, in retrospect, was a great and lucky decision. Replaced our deck in 2009, so it is now 16 years old and still looking fantastic! We enjoy it on a daily basis. Color retention is great, and mildew is non-existent–our old deck was a mildew farm–even in constant direct sunlight. I am especially happy about the maintenance issue–I powerwash it once a year and it cleans up perfectly–no perceptible color fading either. We recommend this decking highly to anyone who will listen to us prattle on!
