Sammy and the Envirotek team did an awesome job on our deck. The price was fair, they laid out clear options up front, and the whole process was stress-free. The crew started when they said they would and finished a couple of days early.
As the other reviews have mentioned, Sammy is great to work with. He went above and beyond, handling a few out-of-scope fixes at no extra charge and without turning it into a change order. He’s a personable, no-drama pro who does what he says he’ll do.
I would absolutely hire Envirotek again.
Sammy and team has been our go to for deck and wood restoration for a few years now. EnviroTek did a wonderful job oiling our Brazilian Ipe Hardwood deck and redwood planter boxes. They were quick, efficient and communicative and I couldn’t recommend them more.
We loved working with Sammy on our large two story deck and front stair remodel! Great work, fair pricing and amazing care and service. Even when we had to pause work for 3 years due to our house remodel, Sammy helped us extend our permits and navigate the changing codes. He made some great suggestions to help make our deck more elegant, and even after our deck was done, he came by to add support blocks at no charge when we put in a large metal pergola. We highly recommend him!
Sammy is the best out of all the contractors we’ve worked with.
His price is not the cheapest but also not the most expensive. I got several quotes and we picked Sammy because of his honest personality. He cares about his employees and he has been working with them for decades so it really shows their respect for each another. That makes the entire process smooth since he can trust them no matter what. We worked directly with his foreman Fernando and he did whatever correction we wanted them to do. It was very easy to communicate with the team on site. Sammy also has the vision so he will tell you his opinion and you can take it or leave it. We often did take it and glad it really worked out. They labored over our tiny deck for at least 1 week straight and allowed us to have our birthday party just in time! We are so grateful for Sammy’s flexibility and shifting his already tight schedule to accommodate our needs. That really is just the cherry on top. Sammy is very trusting to his clients as well, he believes that people are good and that just sets the tone of his whole business.
As much as we are afraid of him being extra busy for our future needs, I cannot justify not leaving this review and keeping him and his team all to ourselves.
So yes, with your guidance, Sammy and his truly amazing team, your vision can be perfectly realized!

The owner of Envirotek Restoration (Sammy) is an amazing person! I first met Sammy when I was shopping for deck bids in Emerald Hills, Ca. I must of called 6-8 companies and was able to get 5 bids. But something about Sammy gave us the confidence that he know what he was doing. He was also very competitive with all other bids. But my partner and I felt like he was the Mercedes class compared to other companies. He was super professional, knew building codes, was able to give a scope of work, wasn’t pushy and most of all, LOVES WHAT HE DOES. He is a perfectionist. If he doesn’t like something, he will have his guys redo it. Sammy also sensed that we had urgency within our situation and was able to put more guys than he normally would on our job. On top of this, Sammy went above and beyond to do additional things around my project since he knew I was on a financial crunch to get this project completed. At first, I considered this a business transaction. But Sammy made me feel like family. So now I almost feel that Sammy and I have become friends. I highly recommend Sammy to replace any deck. He is a expert in what he does and does it with passion. Sammy, I love you!! Hope to do business with you again! Take care and thank you for all your help.
