Had a great experience with Hardwood Decking Deals! The owner Scott was super helpful and knowledgeable. I had no idea what type of wood I needed and he took his time going over all the options with me. It’s been two years since I had the wood installed and I get compliments anytime anyone sees it. It still looks brand new. Scott helped me pick what seals I would need and it’s held up great!!! Would definitely come back for future hardwood needs!
I had a terrible experience with Hardwood Decking Deals. I purchased 640 feet of Ipe hardwood from them, and when I finally inspected the wood, I was shocked to find that 180 feet of it was cracked. I stored it in an insulated garage 30 inches off the ground, following their recommended guidelines. When I reached out to Scott for assistance, his response was incredibly aggressive. He repeatedly claimed not to know how I stored or handled the wood, shifting blame to me. He offered no resolution and essentially washed his hands of any responsibility, despite 30% of the load being unusable. This level of customer service and product quality is unacceptable.
