   My first experience was good. Couple things I like to note is they are very strict and particular about their lumber stock which is great love that. It’s welcoming once they know what you are there for and what your are buying as far as shopping around. It’s best to know what you are buying. Which for me I don’t mind but there is times where you need to shop for certain ideas and seeing product in person is always different from viewing a photo online I can see this as a issue in the future they do move heavy equipment around so understandable why they don’t want people hanging out in the warehouse house to shop. I wish they had some type of catalog or in the front part of the building sample board of each product. They have great pricing but no pricing listed. As a small wood shop owner/ remodeler seeing those prices helps us figure out the budget at hand. Maybe a price listing online? That can fluctuate with the materials costs changing would be awesome other then that the staff seems pleasant had a great time seeing the place and will be returning in the future for more products.

   Great Customer Service here, best choice of hardwoods that Lowe’s, HD, Floor & Decor don’t carry. Thank you Bryan Knight for taking amazing care of us! After unpacking our order, discovered one 8′ panel of walnut veneer had an indentation, appeared may be from the transport securing straps being a little too tight. Called and Bryan totally understood, sent a few pics, and he offered either a discount or to trade it out. We paid $50 to deliver 25mi s, so we didn’t have a truck to haul it back to exchange. Again understanding, Bryan said we should get what we paid for np, and would have delivery swap it out. We agreed to visit store again so we could select best fit to match similar patterning in the wood, which Bryan personally helped us to do, driving the truck to move pallets around for us. Bryan also let us swap out a 2nd panel as the patterning was wildly different than the 4 boards. For such a small order of 5 boards, we were thrilled with the level of service we received. Note wood prices fluctuate like gas, so if you like it, do it! They close one hr for lunch 12-1PM. Staff are friendly and Bryan in particular is so helpful!

   If I am ever disabled I will try and get a job at Hood because they seem to prize being as slow as possible. You cannot get in and out in under a half hour even if you are the only customer on the premesis. Not only are their employees Discouraged from working with any sense of urgency, but their process is also designed to trap you for the maximum amount of time. To get product you have to stand in line in their show room, tell the person behind the counter what you want (and there is usually only one person, sometimes two but usually only one) and then they print out a sheet that you hand to someone in the yard(and finding someone to hand it to is not always simple, sometimes you have to hunt for someone) and they pull it for you, and then you have to go back in to the show room and stand in line AGAIN! to pay. It is the most asinine system I have ever seen, and I hate having to use hood, but for certain products, they are the only game in town that I know of otherwise, I absolutely positively would not come here. They are so slow.

   I know supply and such changes but I would really enjoy being able to go to a website and see what they have in stock at the moment. I know for fact I would spend thousands more here then other places if only I was able to see what they had. It is a digital age and everyone and everything is online sooooo.

   Has to be the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. Helped me find a good deal and just overall extremely nice!
