Nova Tile and Stone, Home Design Center truly is a one-stop shop. Their selection is outstanding—tile, slabs, vinyl, engineered wood, mosaics, natural stone, and more. If you’re planning a project, this should be your first stop. I was extremely impressed with both the variety of options and the knowledgeable staff. With multiple locations throughout Nevada and California, they make it easy to access their incredible products and expertise. From a simple bathroom remodel to large commercial projects, their team can guide you through the entire process from start to finish.

We prematurley gave this business a 5 star review (thought customer service was great until is wasn’t) We went to this business to find granite/quartzite for our kitchen/ bath counters. Our sales person, Kris at first was very helpful. After briefing us on different materials, we found a quartzite slab we loved. There were six slabs total, although we only needed one. There were 3 month expired hold tags on all the slabs.(after looking around, this seemed to be common practice at Nova Tile &Stone and Kris co firmed this when we asked about all the hold tags. Our sales person Kris said that designers periodically come in to put materials on hold in case they get a job in the near future. Often times they never purchase these materials or find something better when it comes in. These slabs were 3 months past the expired hold dates. I asked her to contact the designer. She said she would call the designer and me at the beginning of the week. (this was saturday). I never heard from her. We went to Reno the following Saturday to a local competetor first. Their selection was much bigger/better. Their customer service was also detailed and informative. We did find a slab we really liked, however, the Montibello slab at Nova was still our favorite, so we went back to Nova. The slabs were still there with the expired hold tags. Kris seemed to be avoiding us. I finally went up to her and asked her if she ever got a hold of the designer as promised and that I never received a return phone call. She apologized about forgetting to call (us, designer?). I then asked her if we would able to purchase a slab and she said no because the designer wanted them…after just saying she forgot to call anybody. She asked me if we were interested in anything else. We let her know that since we were unable to purchase what we wanted at Nova, we would make our purchases at Granite Planet, who had a slab we would purchase should Nova fail us….my suggestion to Nova Tile and Stone is if you are going to play the “hold” game and not take individual customers as a valued customer, then dont open your business to the general public. This place had several expired holds. If I had found a slab I liked and put it on hold, then let it expire, could I expect to still have it waiting for me 3-4 months down the road? I doubt it…what a disappointment this company turned out to be…

Our new kitchen counters are finished and are WOW! Are my wife and I thrilled. The kitchen is awesome the granite has so much character it’s everything we hoped for and more. Nova Stone and tile was fantastic to work with and Zachary Singer went far beyond what we thought his job was. Zach was helpful happy and fun to work with. Even though he was fairly new at the time he answered all our questions and helped find us the perfect granite in our price range and a stunning SUNSET RED color. We shopped several stores and outlets and with Zach’s assistance we came in $$$THOUSANDS of dollars under the others. Like several thousand dollars so very happy. We would more than whole heartedly recommend Nova Stone and Tile and Zachary Singer for all your stone and tile needs. We wouldn’t go anywhere else in the future.

This is a larger version of the Nova in Minden. Huge warehouse and selection! The people working here are also very knowledgeable and friendly. You can’t go wrong at either location!
