We had Southern Woodlands Construction build us a screened in porch! I absolutely love the job that they did, and couldn’t be happier with the end results. They listened to what we were wanted, and built a top quality porch.
If we had any questions, Robbie was quick to respond and showed up everyday to make sure the build was going as planned! Jennifer, works the office and kept the schedule to fit our needs. This is where I live now! I highly recommend Southern Woodlands Construction. Thanks Guys!
Southern Woodlands Construction did an excellent job building a retaining wall at our house. From the first consultation through the final cleanup, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with.
They took the time to explain the process, answered all of our questions, and made sure the wall was built exactly how we wanted. The craftsmanship is outstanding — the wall is solid, looks great, and has completely transformed our yard.
The crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and left the site clean when they were finished. It’s clear they take pride in their work and care about their customers.

Southern Woodlands Construction installed a beautiful fence around our new pool and yard and did an excellent job. They showed up on time, worked quickly but with high quality and resolved an quick issue with our inspection on the same day I contacted them back. It’s nice to have a construction company in Tallahassee that answers the phone, replies to messages, shows up when promises and does quality work at a competitive price.
I’ve now used Southern Woodlands Construction several times. I’m a senior woman and there’s sometimes a concern that construction workers might take advantage or lack respect because of being older. I want to say that working with this company, specifically Robbie, was such a positive experience. The work was top notch and I always felt safe and personally cared for. My wishes and opinions were always respected and he often went beyond what was required to make it special for me. It was wonderful working together. I have no hesitation in recommending Southern Woodlands Construction, especially to all of the seniors unsure of whom to trust.
