   I had an overall fantastic experience with Super-Builders even though I was unable to use them (see why below). I would recommend them to anyone looking to repair or build a fence. Their communication and overall quoting process were great, and they seemed to really know their stuff. Their pricing was also fair and reasonable. I was looking to fix a leaning fence. Super-Builders was really responsive and came by a couple days later to evaluate and quote the project. They even offered an option for me to consider that was a little more expensive but would result in a longer lasting fix.

   Why didn’t I use them you ask? I am figuring out a fence repair with a landlord next door who hasn’t been the easiest to work with. In spite of this, Super-Builders was very patient and even worked through different quote options. My only regret is that I wish I could have moved forward with them, but my landlord/neighbor wore me down, so we’re going with his “handyman” approach which I know I will regret.

   I have no doubt I would have loved Super-Builders’ work had circumstances worked out on my end. Do yourself a favor and give them a call. I know you won’t regret it.

   This is our third project with Super Builders. Two of these projects required quite a bit expertise and particularly out-of-box thinking. One thing that it is important to mention they know what they are doing. The quality of the work, paying attention to the details and most importantly the final result paves the road to next job. We have worked with Miguel and Martin as to initiate the project. Both of them are very punctual and reasonable with the pricing. They both explain the solution and give on-the-spot estimates. Very efficient. Super Builders bring the top talented crew, quite experienced and some of the nicest technicians to the site. Pepe (in particular) and Alfredo lead our projects. They made sure our satisfaction is the top priority. When we saw the lumber they use, the material has not resembled anything like we have seen in Home Depot. We’re explained that Super Builders own their lumber and metal shop. In other words, the consistency, quality and customization of the product separate them from all others. Highly recommended.
   They built new deck, sections of an arbor and various posts.

   Miguel the owner was super nice and kept up the good communication with us. He and his crew came over within a few days after we called him about the issues. He fixed most of the concerns and told us the wood naturally bend/bow and offered to replace most of them except minor ones which he screwed tight. The horizontal “staple” mark and the cuts on the surface of the wood which he told us that’s from natural storage of the wood. We are hopeful the fence would stay solid longer and believe that we can rely on Miguel if there are any further issues.

   We did not have a walkthrough as both 2 workers spoke minimal English. While I sympathize with them for doing the entire 90′ fence in one day with only 2 workers, they did not do a good job.

   When we started to point out issues on our fence in the end, there was a phone call from Martin: he questioned why we kept the workers late and wanted to take our money and just leave…

   I was told that Martin or Miguel would contact me later to discuss our issues with the fence or come to our address so that I can point out the issues to them but no one contacted me and no one came, even now it’s been a week after the fence installment.

   My neighbor then pointed out more issues of our fence roughly summerizing everything:
   1) there are a few exposed nails on neighbor side of the fence
   2) there are a few broken wood pieces on his and my side of the fence
   3) between wood boards, there are more than 10 places with gaps and one of them even has a big gap that can fit 2 fingers in and the wood board was bent abnormally within a week of installation that we found this out. Did you not have to nail down between wood boards?
   4) there are cracks and holes on the wood board
   5) there are staple marks on the horizontal wood
   6) there’s at least one missing wood frame on the lattice
   7) one of the wood posts is already twisting
   8) there are gaps between the wood post and wood board

   We expect better quality of wood and better craftsmanship from Super Builders Inc!! We are posting our review photos (26 photos) attached because this is not acceptable!

   Look at all the five-star reviews and glowing comments here (and I’m about to add more)! It’s easy to understand why — it’s because this company is consistently excellent at what they do. People rave about the customer service, the high quality of their workmanship and materials, their prices, and the outstanding working relationship they establish with their customers, and all of that is true. I want to mention something else that’s very important, which they demonstrated on our project. We hired them to build a section of fence and gate (to replace old ones) and a large pergola with a twin-wall clear polycarbonate roof over the backyard patio. We had seen similar projects they’d done and wanted the same thing. We also needed a small section polycarbonate material to cover an exposed section over the front porch, which required Miguel to design a custom solution, which worked out perfectly. After the pergola was finished, Miguel and his foreman inspected it and they concluded that the way it had been built according to the design which we’d asked for and agreed upon, would not provide sufficient support for the roof over time. On their own — and at their expense — they came back and put in a significant amount of extra material (and labor) to correct that deficiency, to meet their high standard. And, they came back again, later on, to fix another issue related to the material (not anything to do with their workmanship). The point here is that they stand behind their work and will make sure that the finished product meets your hopes and expectations AND THEIRS, and will perform as it should. That is the mark of a great business that truly values their customers and takes pride in their service and their work. And that is to be admired and commended. Five stars, all the way.

   After the Winter 2017 deluge, we lost at least 16 feet of very old fence, including a post. We obtained three other quotes, but were not satisfied with what we heard (price, etc.). Super-Builders was number four and, in mid-June 2017, we scheduled about 200 feet of side and back fences plus a new front gate (five neighbors involved). Super-Builders were so busy – that’s a good sign – that the new fence couldn’t go in until mid-September. Projecting three days of work, they were done in two. No plants along the fence were damaged. They repaired an underground sprinkler pipe which broke while augering the ground for a new post (hardly a surprise). See the before-and-after photos. Excellent craftsmanship, beautiful work, complete clean-up. Phone calls were returned quickly. Billing was easy. A flawless experience. We’d hire this firm again in a second.
