Fantastic job on our mailbox replacement! Dave arrived on time, and started with the project right away. It was done efficiently, professionally, and with great attention to detail. Everything’s sturdy, perfectly aligned, and looks great! He communicated everything clearly from start to finish, and the area was left clean afterward. The Neighborly Handyman completed our project of removing and replacing the bulkhead along the marsh side of our property. The workers were communicative, professional, knowledgeable and courteous. They did an excellent job. We highly recommend this business. Photos are before and after.
I highly recommend Dave and Justin as carpenters and general handyman services. This includes larger jobs such as tearing down and rebuilding my porch. Originally the job was to tear down the wood frame with the exception of the main support beams and rebuild, paint and screen the porch. Once the main beams were exposed it was discovered these also had rot at the base and needed to be replaced along with a small rebuild of the concrete/brick floor. I agreed to the change in price due to increased job scope and the work proceeded.
The porch they built is more solid than when I moved in 20 years ago and is beautiful. Dave was very responsive to texts and questions I had along the way. He would let me know when they would arrive and they left their working space tidy each day. I’ve had some bad experiences over the years and I am happy to find reliable, quality driven business owners/workers in Dave and Justin. They will definitely be getting more work from me.
Dave and his partner were spectacular. We had some rot on both sides of our garage and some rot on our second story window. Dave was able to accomplish both! Everything was straightforward, and he was even kind enough to clean the area before they left. This was rare, as many contractors I’ve experienced leave their trash everywhere. We will definitely be using them again soon! Very professional at painting too, everything looks coherent A+++
Dave and Justin did great work fixing the wood rot on the side of my home. They communicated the full extent of the work, completed the work quickly and the results are seamless. Highly recommend!
