We had the great pleasure to stop by Pioneer Ace Hardware to have propane filled in our three tanks. We were very happy with the service provided. I have recently been going to Pioneer Ace Hardware for more and more projects and items. They have something that is missing in today’s big box stores-Customer Service. As a veteran of 32 years in an industry that valued Customer service highly, I know good customer service when I see it and Pioneer Ace Hardware has great people. Even though you may pay a bit more, the customer service and experience is well worth your time and effort to go where you are appreciated.

Best Shopping experience in a long time. Home Depot told me they could not copy my house key. the same house key we all have. literally told me to go to ACE. I live out by the Armory in Rio Rancho and is bit of a drive. Anyhoo, I walked in. I was greeted by a young man at the register and made my way to the center where the Key’s get cut. an older Employee who i came to know as “Sheriff” Dwayne. I call him that because he has a sheriff badge on his vest. took a second while helping a customer to acknowledge me, ask if he could help. i said i just need to copy some keys. and said he would help me next. I began looking around and right away i felt that old school hardware store vibe. I grew up in a small town that didn’t have the big box hardware stor. I miss these small form hardware stores. i began to noticed how clean, well stocked and put away the store was. obviously the folks who manage this store take pride in their work. Everyone smiled and looked to be having a great time. even the young man at the register was in a great mood and we joked around a bit. “Sheriff” Dwayne finished helping his customer and told him my story about homedepot. he took extra time and care to make sure my keys were copied perfect and we chatted for a few minutes. This man made my day. I’ve come to dread going to home depot by my house because it’s system overload just walking into it. After today i’ll be making that extra drive for my home and hardware needs.

    Give “Sheriff” Dwayne a Raise.

Brian was so patient and helpful! He took so much time finding just the right tiny screws for my lamp. When the total cost was only 54 cents, Brian joked that he might get a Christmas bonus for my purchase! Thanks!

Why In the world would they put a light right here in back of the parking space, I know I should have noticed but I backed up into this light with a cement base and it dented my bumper. They could have moved the light on the other side of the curb.

Very pricey. Pseudo friendly staff. Stopped in for a quick errand on my way home Wednesday evening. Copy for a basic key was almost $7… Walmart is around $3. 😳
Mini bug zapper from Black Flag had a shelf price of $19, and I thought that was perfect for my apartment balcony until I got to the register; $56. No way.
They wouldn’t honor the price on the shelf…
    No way I’m buying that.
    Ridiculous prices.
