I would not recommend Desert Valley Landscaping based on my experience. They initially showed up but completed less than half of the agreed-upon work, then requested half of the total payment with the assurance they would return to finish the job. Unfortunately, they never came back.
They repeatedly rescheduled, creating unnecessary delays, and eventually agreed to provide a partial refund since half the work was never completed. However, despite numerous calls and messages, they have not followed through on that commitment and have been unresponsive.
This lack of professionalism, accountability, and follow-through is unacceptable. Homeowners should be cautious when considering this company, as reliability and integrity appear to be lacking in their business practices.
Since I posted this years ago… I have tried to get Michael to come back to finish the job. Eventually he just stopped answering my calls. I had multiple promises for multiple dates that he’d be there. Of course, he never did come. I have a 20 foot tree in my yard that is trying to come back to life. I strongly recommend that you do NOT use this vendor.

I would like to say that Michael and his crew worked very hard, were friendly and professional. They did have to adjust the estimate up another 25%, but the reason seemed legitimate.
The work that was done was really terrific. Just DO NOT pay them until they complete the work. He received final payment from my elderly mother and then never came back. We have the remnants of a very large tree still standing. I have been unable to get an invoice to see the costs broken down though I have requested it no less than 3 times and provided my phone and email contact info. The last time I texted with a request for an update on when he would complete the work, he just stopped responding.
Again, the work that he does is TERRIFIC, just do not pay until you are happy with the completion. My mother just trusted him and should have waited to write the last large check.
Michael and his crew are amazing! They cut down three trees and trimmed several others on our property. In addition, they took out two overgrown juniper bushes and cleaned out the stumps so I’ll be able to have a lovely flower bed in that spot! We were so impressed by how fast and how hard their team worked, and how well they cleaned up afterward. Plus, they charged less than the other tree companies who also bid on the job. We’re very pleased!!!

They cut down my 2 trees and were very reasonably priced and the clean up was good
