   We came in with some plant and layout ideas, and Bianca adapted to our project needs— a low water, mostly CA native landscape that mirrored our love of the scenery we see on Bay Area hikes. She quickly provided expert guidance and new ideas, materials suggestions and alternate plants to better meet our practical and aesthetic goals, contractor recommendations, etc. It’s only been 3 months since installation, but already it’s provided my husband and I so much daily joy to see the yard brimming with bees, hummingbirds, and monarch butterflies. We loved working with her and would absolutely recommend!

   We had became overwhelmed with all the pieces involved with trying to redo our backyard. Too many areas in which we did not have knowledge. We wanted someone with expertise. Bianca’s ability to get to know us and our space allowed for a fun and exciting experience redoing our backyard. I really loved the plant choice document she put together. It was fun to look at the choices and then decide. Bianca took time to hear our wishes, create ideas to share with us and then take our feedback to make changes which resulted in a great outdoor space.

   I’m very glad that I chose Golden State Gardens to design and manage the landscaping project of my front and back yards. Our first meeting assured me that Bianca knew the local environment and native plants. She listened carefully to my ideas while enhancing the design with her knowledge and experience. I found that Bianca’s guidance and enthusiasm supported me in being able to envision what I really wanted for my outdoor space. The design process and timelines were clearly explained and met. We worked well together in evaluating and selecting a landscaping contractor. Bianca helped guide the contractor with just the right amount of monitoring and oversight, paying attention to important details that would have escaped me. I am thrilled by my new environment each time I return home or walk outside. Thank you Golden State Gardens!

   Working with Bianca on our yard project was a joy. Bianca was receptive to our requirements, creative with her ideas, and attentive to the fine details as the work was being performed. We are incredibly happy with the yard Bianca designed for our family, and would recommend Bianca highly to anyone looking to bring joy, energy and gusto to their outdoor space.

   Carson Dance

   We wanted to add more curb appeal, interest, and functionality to our
   front yard, but we didn’t have any idea what that would look like.
   Bianca was able to take our vague statements about what we like and
   incorporate the current look/color of our house into a cohesive
   design. I’m not very imaginative, but Bianca was able to present the
   vision for the yard in a very clear way that made it easy for me to
   understand what it would look like. She also was very conscientious
   about what was possible given our budget. She has exceptional
   attention to detail and was very communicative, making it easy for us
   to move forward with the design.
