   I never write reviews – but my experience with Hills Landscaping warrants the effort.

   Context: Hills Landscaping completely transformed our front and backyard.

   This is a MAJOR shoutout to Antonio (the project manager), his team and Erica (office / admin).

   Antonio and the rest of the team were amazing to work with because:

   1.) Pricing: Their prices were incredibly fair if not the best price offered from the 5 or 6 different quotes I received.

   2.) Professionalism: The team always came on time, were very respectful and always cleaned up after themselves.

   3.) Flexibility: I can’t tell you how many times I changed my mind or decided to expand on the project. Antonio has the patience of a saint and was always accommodating and worked with me to get exactly what I wanted.

   4.) Responsiveness: Both Antonio and Erica are incredibly responsive. Never once did they miss a meeting or take longer than 24 hours to respond to a message.

   5.) Expertise: I relied a lot on Antonio’s opinion and experience when designing my front and backyard. He has a great eye for detail and he doesn’t pressure you to go one way or another.

   We loved working with Antonio and his team so much we actually even signed up for them to do our monthly maintenance.

   Trust me – as someone who is risk averse and very picky – you cannot go wrong with Hill’s Landscaping

   William Powers (Bill Powers)

   This was one of the best experiences I’ve had with contractors. Great work, on time, cleaned up, courteous employees, flexible with changes. Highly competitive prices and large crews. They own their equipment and trucks, and don’t need to sub parts of the job out. Plus, even though a large firm, you get to deal with the owner, Antonio, all the time. He was always reachable. Plus, the office staff ( especially Erica) was top-notch. You won’t regret contacting Hills Landscaping.

   Hills Landscaping was selected by us after reviewing 3 other proposals. Right from initial interaction we found Antonio (Founder) and Erica (Office) to be on top of their communications. When we explained our plan they immediately understood the scope and quickly went on quoting process. They allowed flexibility and helped us complete the project on time. Hugo Avila as their manager was very diligent and knowledgeable. He explained the cost updates as it happens with any project. But at the end of the day, we are happy with their personnel and workmanship and would offer to provide a reference any day!

   Incredible experience working with Hills!!! Our before and after pictures are attached.

   They completely transformed our backyard, front yard, and city trees area to an oasis that we enjoy using everyday. They did pavers, a paver wall, stepping stones, a custom arch, planting, placed boulders, lights, drip lines/rainwater features, and more. All together, demolished the preexisting mess of our fixer upper yard and remodeled the front yard, back yard, side yards, and city strips. Antonio made sure to oversee the project, communicate with us, and fix any issues that occurred which can occur with any contractor project. Antonio also made favorable changes and suggestions to landscape design we acquired before Hills. This included optimizing backyard space for entertainment / seating as well as adding an amazing rock river and hill I can’t imagine not having now that it has been completed. They also suggested and added a rock to our front yard that really completes the look.

   A lead, Alberto, was also great on the job and really helped the project come together. Also, the main office is very responsive and helpful in communicating with us and the team.

   When our window company miscommunicated with Hills regarding heights needed for permits on our back door landing they wanted to hire someone else to fix the work. We refused the window company’s suggestion and asked Hills to make the changes / communicate with the window company to pass inspection. We did not trust anyone else for the project and are happy they completed the work.

   Excellent warranty as they will fix any pavers / work. Due to shifting soil common in the bay we will all need pavers to be adjusted over the years so this is great. They will also replace any cracks in pavers overtime.

   The majority of the work was completed about a year ago and everything still looks great! I would recommend this company to anyone wanting to complete any backyard remodel after we used them for all soft and hardscape. A couple people in our neighborhood have already told us they are using this company after seeing our yard.

   Hills Landscaping recently finished our lovely front yard.

   We decided to hire Hills Landscaping based on their positive reviews and reasonable prices. Initially, we didn’t know what to expect due to previous bad experiences with other contractors. However, when Antonio visited for the second time, all our questions were answered, some minor earlier miscommunication was resolved, and we were ready to proceed.

   Throughout the project, everything went smoothly. Antonio and his team were professional, flexible, and easy to communicate with. We made some changes during the project, and Antonio made it hassle-free for us. Leo and Eduardo did an outstanding job transforming our front yard.

   We also received valuable assistance from their designer, Nop, regarding plant placement. Although we didn’t use their designer for the entire project, their input was helpful.

   Antonio’s experience and recommendations were invaluable. For instance, he suggested adding a dark dirt cover to an unfinished part of the yard without charging us. Unlike some other contractors, Antonio doesn’t nickel-and-dime clients when changes are needed. His attention to detail truly made a difference in our landscaping project.

   Antonio and the entire Hills Landscaping team, thank you! Working with you was a pleasure. You made it stress-free, and transformed our front yard into one of the nicest in the neighborhood. Your customer-focused approach is truly appreciated. Unlike some contractors who prioritize profits over quality work, you truly stand out. Keep up the great work!
