   Death by yard…solved!

   My home has so many bushes, plus front and back lawns, and I had lost control of pretty much everything but the lawns. I knew I could not tackle it myself, so I started the process of getting quotes.

   First guy comes out, walks around and then says…$700 – I’m confident he’s not listening, I want things cut back hard, not some trim, I can trim!

   Then Lopez Cares comes out and we walk around looking at the same bushes, having pretty much the same conversation, but they come back with a much higher quote. I agree immediately, because I know they listened, and understood what I needed.

   They worked very hard, more than 8 hours a day, for about 2 and half days, now you can see where $700 was a guy not listening.

   Not only did they cut everything back like I asked, but they blew out about a ton of leaves and what have you, hauled away more than two trailers full of branches and leaves, amazing.

   I have my yard back, and while this was not cheap, what is 22 or so hours of hard labor worth to you? Forget it, you do not have the tools, the trailer, etc., etc. You would need an entire week or more, and a week to recover.

   In the before pictures you can see one of my bushes growing up over my neighbor’s roof, I have several bushes front and back that were also out of control. I can’t even reach to top of that bush!

   In the after pictures you can see what a hard prune looks like, and why it is not cheap.

   It’s early spring, but the rose bushes, that were about 7′ tall, are coming back strong already. Other bushes are putting out green little sprouts and what have you, clearly already starting their comeback.

   Very pleased with Lopez Cares, good people, who listen and then get to work.

   We Hired Lopez Cares Landscaping last spring following the retirement of our previous lawn care guy while my father was hospitalized with kidney failure. By the time we finally got home (two months later) the yard was the furthest thing from our minds. Nevertheless it needed attention. It was incredibly frustrating looking for landscaping/yard care at the start of the peak season, and affordability was a certain priority. I had tried angi’s list, google, thumbtack. You name it, i was on it. Thankfully i received a text from Lopez Cares. I explained our story, and shared some pictures, and what struck me the most wasn’t how professional they were (though they are), it wasn’t how eager they sounded to help (though they were), what struck me the most was their willingness to listen and the empathy and support they showed us for our current situation. I felt like i was speaking with someone who wanted to make it easier for me to make a comfortable home for my father to enjoy in spite of circumstance.

   Context aside, Lopez got to work on a weekly cadence to tame the overgrowth, and establish a clean baseline to better understand the needs of the flora, the condition, and potential for the landscaping. We’ve maintained them since. We consistently are given compliments on the condition of our yards, and even our neighbor across the street whose landscaping is a model for which to aspire, has complimented the beauty.

   I have never in my life seen such a positive work ethic, an attention to detail, and an eagerness to achieve excellence. Not to mention, they do what they say they are going to do. I would put total and unwavering trust in them. If you are lucky enough to get to work with Lopez Cares, you will find that your landscaping isn’t the only improvement in your life. 5/5 Thank you!!!

   The good folks at Lopez Cares came to do a rush leaf cleaning job for me with almost no notice. They were helpful, fast, and the yard looks great. The price was reasonable and the owner Juliet was easy to work with. This is who I’ll be contacting for my next yard project!

   Lopez cares took our yard from a dirt lot to a beautifully landscaped yard. Juliette and Rico were very professional and very detailed. This was by no means a small project but they were able to methodically take each step in stride. I am very happy with the outcome and now I have the backyard Oasis I always wanted. I recommend Lopez Cares Landscaping for any landscape project. You will not be disappointed.
