I bought a plant and a pot at mission hills nursery. The plant did not survive. It died within a week. I took it back and the man told me I overwatered it. He said it was my fault. I am very good with plants. I showed the man photos of the plants I have in the house. I will add photos of the plants I have so you can see the quality of the plants I have. I ended up taking my business to home depot to buy a new plant. I asked them when I bought a new plant and they shared with me that they did guarantee the plant. I am sorry to not support my local nursery
This is such a wonderful nursery that really invites the Community to come and explore, and even really welcomes children! They have a little toy chest with books and toys! An adorable chicken house, and benches spread throughout for enjoyment of the plants and trees! The fountains, chimes and ceramics and succulents are our favorites! There are expert super knowledgeable nursery associates to help with all of your gardening needs, small or large scale! Come for a visit and stay for a while!! You can even grab a free mini pop on the way out!!
So many plants to choose from. A great community meeting place for garden clubs. The staff gave me ideas for reinvigorating a planter
Friendly and very helpful staff, and an enchanting locale. Great selection of plants, particularly their selection of native southern California plants. The ladies working pest control are the sweetest (a small flock of hens) and their supervisor, Critter is the cutest, but she’s usually asleep on the job. 10/10 my favorite nursery to go to in SD.
Love coming here to stroll around and see all the different plants and trees. They have a huge selection and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. We always end up going home with a new plant!
