Sean Anderson, designer, artist and visionary! After interviewing several Landscape/Design companies – persons, I then spoke to Sean. I immediately liked his approach; he was excited to provide options and ideas for my yard. He was like an artist with a blank canvas! After talking to me and looking at my yard through map quest, his artistic mind went to work. As I had told him I didn’t know what I wanted, other than I wanted to have a very nice yard so I could enjoy. He gave me several versions until we came up with something I could live with and within my budget! When he was done, I had a beautiful yard and a fantastic shade structure that put the finishing touches to my backyard!! love it, love it!!

I had Sean design my backyard and I absolutely love the results. Sean is truly an artist and his enthusiasm about the project makes it really fun and exciting. He is also a perfectionist and will make certain everything is done to your satisfaction. If you like fire and water concepts….Sean is the guy. My backyard is totally transformed and I love being out there now, where as before, I rarely hung out in my backyard unless I was in the pool. I can’t wait for some cold weather so I can enjoy my fabulous firepit and tiki torches.
Sean provided a professional drawing that really allowed me to envision the end result. He also provided a proposal that laid out each individual piece of the plan individually priced which made it so much easier to work around my budget. Sean is a great listener and really cares about making his customers happy throughout the whole process…he is there when he says he will be there and his crew is courteous, friendly, and fun to have around. All of Seans recommendations that I ended up selecting were perfect and blended flawlessly into my existing landscape.

Sean Andersen is a talented designer and visionary! He and his team transformed my ugly rocky backyard into a beautiful resort style space. I highly recommend Sean and his team!
I wanted to convert my ugly yard with nothing but right angles to curves and organic shapes. Sean worked with me and converted my concepts and desires into reality. I wanted a curved bar and BBQ – and Mountainscapers came up with a unique design, recommending a shade structure and water feature along with lots of trees and desert tolerant plants (NO CACTUS). Sean was always creative and collaborative recommending improvements to the design and ultimately delivering an environment – no longer just a yard. It’s my “outside office” and a space we now use 10 months out of the year.
AMAZING! NO REGRETS! 🙂 Sean was super responsive and collaborate, start to finish; never an awkward moment. Office staff and especially the onsite work crew were friendly and answered all questions. Any minor issues were promptly resolved to satisfaction. As you can see, the pictures don’t lie.. just look at that custom gate! Support small businesses that actually care about artistry, craftmanship, and service.
Scope of project: enclosed backyard with block wall + that custom gate, full laser grading and mounding across a large corner lot, removed grass lawn and replaced with full xiroscape rock, gorgeous riprap border. After several heavy rains, drainage is great. Could not be more satisfied! 🙂
