I called on Monday for pine straw delivery & install. They arrived on Tuesday afternoon. Super courteous person / manager with the crew. They were quick. Did a great job & cleaned everything up when they were done. Good competitive price. Highly recommend.
Pine Straw Direct delivered and installed pine straw this week. They arrived a day ahead of schedule. They communicated every step of the way regarding their estimate based on photos I sent them, and then again in person once they arrived and surveyed the job and then again once they laid out the pine straw bundles. Their count aligned and the pricing was both clear and fair. I was very pleased with the outcome. The installers were knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Once done, they cleaned up the area very well. The quality of the pine straw and their workmanship was excellent, and the job was beautiful. I would definitely use this business again.

Be sure you are dealing with the owner. I ordered 150 bales and was told they would be delivered at the beginning of the following week, so I planned to use the weekend to get the beds ready. Instead the straw was delivered early. No one ever bothered to call; I went out for the morning and came back to find it done. When I called the business the owner told me his installer said no one was home, which was a lie – there is no other word for it. My son was at home all morning and his car never left the driveway. They do a good job on the installation, and the owner is responsive to calls, but not everyone who answers the phone there is as concerned with customer service as he is. I have now spent a significant amount of money (for me, anyway) on mulch that is full of weeds after just a few days because it was more convenient for someone there to show up without calling. I’m really disappointed. So use them, especially if you want to support a local business, but be careful.
They were out of pinestraw completely and said they would let us know later that week if they got some in. They didn’t call so we called back days later and they still didn’t have any for sell but said they would let us know when they did in a few days. They stated the contractors come early each day and wipe them out and that there’s a pinestraw shortage. We kept calling for several weeks with the same results each time. Finally after a month they called and said they would deliver the next day and they did. The delivery guy was friendly and polite and placed the straw where we needed it.
