I needed a few yard projects and was charged $125 for a consultation. He was very brief with the note taking and didn’t take any measurements. He seemed annoyed at being there. After 3 weeks, no response with quote. I also bought a couple of small items and the cashier was very rude and unfriendly. She was a young college age girl. Needless to say I won’t be shopping there again. Definitely stay away and go elsewhere.
Just moved here from Seattle I have no clue what kind of plants grow here in Sparks Nevada so I went to Rail city. They have a fabulous selection of everything plus excellent customer service! Mark helped me out so much he is very friendly and very accommodating. He even helped me load my purchases into the car!
Wonderful little spot. Helpful employees, everyone’s smiling and happy. Very knowledgeable employees.
Bought here once. Not only do they have a poor selection of indoor plants, but they come with pests and plant eating fungi as well 👍
If you want a plant for a month for looks, then have it die and ruin the rest of your home plants with multiple pests be my guest. I would thoroughly inspect your plant and the dirt there in before even considering this over priced gift shop there are far more better plant nurseries in Reno. I will NOT be coming back and continue my purchases and my question on how to fix my now “problem” elsewhere. Awful.
Absolutely TERRIBLE PLACE!!!!! BEWARE PESTS!!!!! Over priced plants unhelpful staff. They destroyed atleast 15 other of my plants from in indoor collection because they can’t take care of their plants properly. Literally in TEARS TRYING TO SAVE MY COLLECTION OVER incompetent lazy workers who have no CLUE how to take care of their plants. this is the worst nusery in town by far.
