    Highly recommend. Great job of professional design and update of old landscaping, including digging out old tree roots and railroad ties, removing and replacing gravel, selection and installation of new plants and installation of brick edging and accent lighting. They paid careful attention to detail and took as much time as necessary to provide an excellent result. One plant died over the winter and they quickly replaced it with no questions asked.

    We have used Steve Shelly Landscapes for two major yard reconstructions (front and back) and have been extremely pleased with the results. The team is knowledgeable, helpful and thoroughly professional. We will use them for yard maintenance now and will expect the same great results!

    Let me start off with saying Steve Shelly’s crews do very professional work and are proud of it. We signed the contract in early December 2024 and were told that would take to mid summer 2025 to finish. It wasn’t a huge job but they have a significant backlog so be prepared for a long process with incremental advances. The two areas that they could improve on are 1) be accessible during regular business hours – read your email, answer texts and return phone calls and 2) be proactive in letting the homeowner know crews are going to be at the home and when they had a change of plans. I would have given 5 stars if they were more proactive and responsive. This could be easily fixed.
