   Steve took the time in the middle of the rainstorm to help walk me through what I could do to salvage my grandma’s home. He did this out of the kindness of his heart, and even though it wasn’t exactly what she needed to do, or was required to do he did it because he wanted to help. I really appreciate you Steve and thank you for your help.

   Steve was a pleasure to work with. I met him at at workshop and his presentation was on how to save money by using a landscape designer. I knew I was limited in my budget but I’m confident that I saved money and done so much more than what I imagined for my front yard. His sketch was thorough and was so easy to work with. I’m glad I got to use Steve’s experience and sense of style for my front yard. It was a great experience.

   Steve Harbour really transformed our backyard to an area that is inspirational, creative, and relaxing. His calm manner and ability to listen closely made for easy and productive communication. It was great to have a complete, detailed plan for landscape contractors to reference. Steve’s thorough knowledge of plants contributed to a varied and lush yard which makes the eye gently flow from one area to another. Water-wise plants and those needing sun and shade were intrinsic in his selection. Our new patio is functional and meshes with our home design. He integrated the new patio with an existing walkway which transitioned smoothly. Steve is great to work with and when I’ve had a question, he replies right away.

   Steve is helping us redesign the landscape at our recently purchased midcentury modern home. We are renovating an Eichler and his ideas for mid-century modern design are very thoughtful and artistic. I love how he incorporates drought resistant landscape and California native elements to our modern look. Highly recommend!

   Mr. Steve Harbour – known him for years and, with his depth and breadth of landscape design expertise, was a natural to contact. His expertise is coupled with a warm personality and he extends himself through the layers of questions you are not even aware of. THAT is what we looked for – his guidance, patience – his ability to understand our language and what we were looking for. He cuts through it with a great knowledge and yet understands your layperson language he is able to convert to ‘your plan’. He is teamwork oriented – attentive, caring, with deep knowledge from ‘eatables landscape’ mixed in with your design right on up to the ongoing drought California is experiencing all throughout the state. He gets it – from hardscape to softscape – and by the time you have finished a conversation with him – any conversation with him – you get it too. He is the best and we cannot recommend him highly enough. Like a dream with the world full of possibilities. He will get you there and then some!
